Richard Hamilton Suffering From Post-Concussion Syndrome

by | Mar 31, 2007 | 7 comments

Originally diagnosed with the flu, Pistons guard Rip Hamilton revealed today he is suffering from the effects of post-concussion syndrome.

Hamilton was not diagnosed with a concussion until many days after he was fouled hard by the Mavericks Erick Dampier and then later collided with teammate Chris Webber in the closing minutes of the Pistons loss to the Mavericks.

Hamilton did not practice with the team today and is uncertain if he will play tomorrow when the Pistons host the Miami Heat at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

“We’ll see, I’m going to go out here and get some shots up and see how I feel once I’m moving around,” he said. “The good thing about it, at one time I couldn’t look up at the lights and stuff like that cause it would get real blurry, so it’s good that I can come in here with the lights.” Via WXYZ.com

He has taken some hard hits and well didn;t even get the call. Rip is a good player if anythign good could come out of this it is that it came in march and not april.
