Chauncey actually respected Joe’s game so much that he wore #4 throughout his basketball career. Until he got the Detroit that is.

It’s ironic that his favorite backcourt was Isiah and Dumars, especially since he and Rip get compared them all the time. Both are dynamic duos but Rip and CB have a long way to go to reach Isiah and Joe’s status.
