Michigan Sports Hall of Fame Inducts Jack McCloskey

The Pistons General Manager who helped bring two Championships to the Pistons in 89 and 90 was inducted into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame today. McCloskey was instrumental in building the Bad Boys and drafting such Pistons greats as Isiah Thomas and Joe Dumars.

Also inducted was former Piston player and current Pistons broadcaster Greg Kelser who also played his college days at Michigan State and Phoenix Suns star Dan Majerle of Central Michigan University.

    Jack McClosky was probably the best GM in the league for about 5 years. Smart basketball guy who built a great couple of championship teams. If not for Isiah’s ankle nd the uncalled foul in 88 plus the inbounds steal, who knows, Detroit may have won 4 in a row?!
