I always got excited watching the Pistons play Jordan and the Bulls, I mean we are talking the Bad Boys at their prime and a Jordan when he was just starting to dominate the league, who wouldn’t like to see that. They always hyped up the games and played up the whole “The Jordan Rules” aspect. But I was surprised by the answer Joe Dumars gave in this video when he was asked if he enjoyed their battles.
Good call Joe, I always knew Dumars could spot talent, I just didn’t know his scouting capabilities started that early in his career. Look at Jordan dunk in that clip, it looks almost effortless. There are guys out there today that can throw down a nasty dunk but nobody can get the AIR that Jordan did.
lol Good vid Nat.
it seems like u were around when they played all these games…. how old are u natalie?
Yes I was around, the first game I went to was in the early 80’s right after we drafted Isiah. I was still in grade school then. Now, I have seen many players come and go over the years, I’m 36.
did you see that hand check? that’s a foul nowadays! how can wing players not kick ass with that handcheck rule?
Scouting talent? You’re joking, right? If he didn’t know that Jordan was good after he dropped 59 on him, he would’ve been dubbed legally mentally challenged.
