Joe Dumars, Hall of Fame Guard

by | Sep 5, 2006 | 1 comment

In honor of Joe Dumars induction in the NBA Hall of Fame September 8th, I will be taking a bit of a stroll down memory lane. You all know that Sheed is my favorite Piston but honestly he takes a backseat to Joe Dumars when it comes to my all-time favorite player.

In game three of the 1989 NBA Finals with .09 seconds left on the clock and the Lakers a three ball down from tying the game, Joe Dumars saves the day. This has got to be one of Joe’s most memorable single moments on the court. I remember it as if it was yesterday.
