Here is a video history lesson on one of my favorite Pistons Bill Laimbeer. The man who around the league was one of the most hated players for fans and players alike. We here in the “D” appreciated his hard nosed attitude and style of play. He was a leader both on and off the court.
One of my fondest memories of the Pistons when he was on his team was when he would take his patented little hop and shot the ball from long range. I can almost see the way it would go in on an angle and never even touch the rim. Let’s not forget he’s one of the reasons the Pistons won back to back NBA Championships. Thanks Bill!
The sad thing is you are not allowed to play that way anymore. Bill would have fouled out every game if he played today. I think I seen at least 3 flagrent fouls in the video. What a player he was!!!

Unforutunately I don’t have any footage of Nazr, I guess we have to wait until the season starts for Nazr highlights.
Billy Bad Ass!!!
That was great…classic NBA the way it should be played. Like to see today’s modern superstars drive the lane against the bad boys era…
