You can shoot hoops with Sheed for charity at the Children’s Center Celebrity Golf Classic After Party. Tickets are still available and all proceeds go to charity. If you want to interact with your favorite Detroit sports stars you better get your tickets now. I am sure it will be Sheedtastic.

The Children’s Center Celebrity Golf Classic: An Afternoon with Chauncey Billups and Friends is a sold-out success, but you can still be a part of the fun. Limited amount of tickets for the Motown themed Stars Under the Stars after golf party are still available for $150.00.

Following the golf classic, taking place Monday, July 31, join golfers and celebrities including Chauncey Billups, Pistons coach Flip Saunders, Pistons alumni Vinnie Johnson and Allan Huston, Pistons PA announcer Mason and Lions Alumni Barry Sanders at the prestigious Birmingham Country Club for Stars Under the Stars. Also, shoot free throws with Rasheed Wallace and see the 2004 NBA and 2003 WNBA championship trophies at the Detroit Pistons and Shock Year Round Hoops Truck, a mobile, interactive basketball experience.

Detroit Piston Chauncey Billups has generated tremendous excitement by generously volunteering his time to serve as celebrity host again this year. Chauncey, along with past and present players from Detroit sports teams, sports media and coaches, will tee off together for an exciting day of golf.

All proceeds from the golf classic will benefit The Children’s Center, a non-profit organization established in 1929 by U.S. Senator James Couzens as one of the nation’s first child guidance clinics.

To purchase tickets for Stars Under the Stars, call 313-262-0960 or visit www.thechildrenscenter.com.
