Delfino is at it again.

According to this link via HoopsHype.com Delfino wants out of Detroit, but the Pistons won’t let him go. Again it’s in Spanish, so if there is anyone out there that can translate this for us better than Babel Fish let me know.

Apparently he feels like a prisoner.

Need4Sheed reader Matt Gibson pointed out this article on MLive that says the Pistons don’t believe the Spanish article, and when they talk to Delfino themselves he has a totally different attitude.

He is an impressive player but the time he is spending on the bench is hurting his career. I think releasing him in some deal to Atlanta for Al Harrington would have been a smart move

yea i agree let him go, being in detroit is stunting his growth as a player, hence Darko

I say let him go if he wants to go……. I know alot of fans talk about how he can do this and he can do that, but I really didn’t see it. I mean he is alright, but what about in crunch time. The Pistons team all together needs someone to really produce in crunch time. I mean RIP is ok and Tay is ok, but we need more. I don’t mean some big superstar ball hog, but just someone who can get it don’t. Someone to make other teams worry about. I mean like WADE, and JAMES when a teams starts a game they know that those two are going to be their main focus. We need a main attraction.

SEA OF THE SILVER (Of a special envoy).- “I want to go of Detroit, but they do not want; do not they leave me. I have a year more than contract and another with option in favor of them”, counted Carlos Delfino, the winger of the Pistons in the NBA, to little to arrive at Sea of the Silver and to be concentrated with the selected.

“I had a very interesting offering of Washington and other of the Lakers and Denver, but Detroit does not want to lend me inside the NBA. If they leave me to go, is to Europe. It of Barcelona is certain: wants to carry me, but I have more you earn to play again in Italy, of where also they called me”, added the santafecino, with certain resignation.

“I believe that until after the World nothing is going to define. There is time still, but I feel as the prisoner, if I am not going to have minutes, I do not want to continue in Detroit; they know it”, finalized.

THANK YOU! Even though the Pistons dismiss this quote, he has expressed his displeasure with the Pistons since he got here. I like his game but if he’s not happy how is he going to play to his full potential?

Does anyone else remember when he was a rookie and took off to Argentina to have his Knee looked at against the advice of the Pistons doctors. And supposedly had an unneeded operation.
