Natalie, first off I love your blog:)

I cant say anything against dwayne wade for fear or getting a foul. I can’t believe i actually watched that crap. I think the only way to beat wade and the refs is to make the fouls count. Hard. Our Pistons would have beaten this team if they didnt have to contend with the refs. The Mavs would have been holding the trophy as well if they too didn’t have to contend with the refs.

Im sure Joe Dumars has seen enough and has an innovative strategy as to how the Pistons will win the title next year. Changes need to be made with the way things ended this year, and with the ways the refs handed the heat the title.

    regards,
    Dr.D

I agree for the most part Dr. D…I’m not being sour that Miami won, honestly it didn’t matter to me, but all DWade had to do was drive the lane and run into and flop against somebody and the whistle would blow his way. He knows it, that’s why he drove the lane in the final seconds the last two games of the series. Win by the whistle. Who wants to watch games won by free throws?

That brings us to the major pickle in the NBA today. The refs seem to control the tempo and calls are ridiculously inconsistent. With that said, player “whining” is rather awful now as well in the NBA. It really becomes hard to watch after awhile. I couldn’t imagine being a ref and getting screamed at by fans/players/coaches every second of the entire game. Does that contribute to the inconsistency of calls? I believe it does to an extent. Stern is trying to build the NBA around superstars – Wade, Lebron, Carmello, etc. – and with superstars as we all know, comes the benefit of the whistle nine times out of ten.

Michigan has EMINEM, Florida has Vanilla ICE, MICHIGAN ALWAYS OUTDOES FLORIDA!!EMINEM IS BETTER! AND HAS THE MOST SOLD RAP COPIES PASSING TUPAC! ONCE AGAIN MICHIGAN OWNS FLORIDA. MICHIGAN STATE BEAT FLORIDA IN THE 2000 NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP! A FLORIDA TEAM HAS NEVER BEAT A MICHIGAN TEAM IN A TITLE! SAME YEAR(2000) MICHIGAN STATE BEAT FLORIDA IN THE ORANGE BOWL IN FOOTBALL, PLUS WE BEAT THE HEAT IN THERE OWN COURT LAST YEAR IN GAME 7.

Refs probally got a ring too! LOL I would not be surprised! I would not be surprised to hear later this summer that Shaq has paid the refs too. something strange is going on in the NBA! 89-90 bad boys pistons would destroy this heat team! NBA has changed a lot this year=no more physical play! Game 3 and 5= very strange! It is safe to say the NBA officating sold out! Wade and Heat lost last year, not because of wade injured, because the pistons played him physical and they won. This year they sweat or fart on wade and it’s a foul. I would be very embarresed if i was a Miami heat fan right now and chanting Go heat. They didn’t earn there title, they paid for it! Shaq has a lot of money. Oh yeah and 1 person does not make up a whole team you idiot heat fans, complaing about losing to the pistons in 05 about wade injurie. wade always fakes/ acts injuries anyway.

I will no longer support the NBA or spent any more money on this FAKE rigged BS. If I want that, I would watch Wrestling or Soap Operas. I will still support the Pistons, but this situation looks really bad.

If backstabbers like Riley and Mourning, Underachievers like Walker and White Choco Boy, and a shoved in my face superstar Wade can win with such crappy play, the NBA is in big trouble.
YOu know what, I hope they loose their ratings and fans, this will teach that self-proclaimed marketing guru Stern to stop meddling with the game.

I am glad the Heat won only because that mans that for the last 3 years the road to the championship has been through the Pistons. that should keep them alive. I do not see them losing again next year. Everyone expected them to win this year. Next year no one expects them to win. they say that theor window is closed. That is why they will win it. They are better when no one but the true fans believe in them. They pride themselves on being underdogs. They will win it all next year.

I don’t really care that the heat won since I am not a fan or dallas or the heat but I do care how the heat won. Lets go back to the sprus and dallas where tim Duncan was fouled in the final seconds of the game but no foul was called since that is not how a game should be decided. We have seen now in the last 2 games of the finals that for the heat the refs feel that it is how a game should be decided. One question if it were detroit vs dallas and the game was tied or one team was up by one or the other was down by one and had a chance to go to the line to win or tie a game would a foul be called? Most likely not!

Pistons beat the Heat 3-1 in the regular season series. NBA is for sure fake, just look at the season! Season and overall playoff wins series between the Pistons/Heat is tied 5-5. So the Heat in reality did not beat the pistons this year, they tied them!

This year the NBA wanted to see 2 teams that had never made it to the finals to make history. That is what the NBA seems to be all about this year. I am jsut glad the playoffs are over and now we can take the summer and only wonder what the Pistons will bring us next season. We all know that it will be an interesting season and the pistons will show why they are the best being the underdog. I really fell that is why we did not make it this year. They had the attidute that they would take it all an no one could stop them. Next season things will be different they will have had a chance to adjust to flip and tehy will show us why they are a real basketball team.

Ever stop to think what the rest of the Miami Heat (other that DW and Shaq) will be thinking about in a few weeks when the championship awe wears off? DW won the title, they just came along for the ride. It wasn’t a team effort – it was an individual effort. That individual will be remembered for years to come, the other poor leeches will soon be forgotten. It will be DW this, and DW that, as the others fade out of the picture and are traded off one by one or retire. They will soon realize that they were just puppets for the league to push their stars.

Glad Detroit has a team. That’s what is remembered about both their championship and the Pistons now. The best FIVE alive. That’s something to be proud of.

I just want to start off by talking about the fouls that were called during the HEATs road to victory in 2006 playoffs. Yes, don’t hate. I want to know if you guys saw the first 2 games in Dallas. You want to talk about fixed. Roughly no fouls were being called for the Heat. At first, I wasn’t angry. I thought the refs were trying to them play a physical game. But when Dirk or Terry got the ball and was bumped a little, whistle was blown. Please. Now when the table was turned, everyone is on this crap about fixed. All I have to say to Dallas is make your free throws and timely shots. Now, with the flops. Why in the Finals, not one of the centers from Dallas took a charge or flopped against Shaq. But during the eastern conference finals, Ben Wallace is on the ground most of the time taking an offensive foul from flopping. And he has the audacity to complain to the refs if didn’t get the call. WEAK. Other floppers on the Pistons – Hunter, Hamilton, and Prince. What do you do when you getting beat off the dribble, you try to run in front of your opponent and flop to see if you can get the call. The only respectible player on that team is Billups. When Billups drives to the basket and screams out “AHHHH” and acts like he got fouled hard(a Reggie Miller), he gets a call. That’s smart. But when Wade does the same thing, fixed or faking. ??? Dirk during the finals have gotten calls doing the same thing against Haslem and Posey. I admit the NBA has gotten soft with no physical play, flopping, defenseive 3 seconds, and zone. But you have to go with the flow. Now zone? That’s college. I think zone was started in the NBA because some teams(like Dallas before this year) couldn’t play man-to-man defense. You know some of these changes in NBA was made because of one man, SHAQ. Oh yeah, the person with the Shaq and the sunglasses comment, why don’t you talk about ugly a** Ben Wallace. Tell him to cut that so called fro. He’s still an ugly mutha when it’s braided. DAMN.

P.S. If you can’t take the HEAT, get off the…..court. You thought I was going to say kitchen.(playing Rick Ross – Everday I’m Hustlin’ as I exit). YEAH, I KNOW THIS POST IS LONG BUT YOU READ IT ANYWAY.

Man, I can just go on.

Eminem?…..You mean the “wanna be down” wigga. You can keep that trailor trash. Now, in entertainment like music, eminem doesn’t get played down south. 50 cent was talking about him when he made the song wanksta.

Let’s give it up for the 15 strong…who led the Miami Heat to the 2006 NBA title!!!!!

I apologize for not doing my research on Michigan teams. My bad. I couldn’t go back that far in time. 1901? Wow. 48′ – 97′. Big gap. Any more recent?
I can’t help if they like Florida that much to let us have more 1 team in the state. We got it like that.
Yeah the Tigers have more world series than the Marlins. Can you tell me when the Tigers and Marlins was established? Do the same for the Pistons and Heat? Heat and Marlins – more rings to come. Hate all u want.
About the alligator comment, you just worry about not catching that “die slow” with all them hoes up there. That’s aids stupid. I’m thru talking to u. Alligators. lol.
I bet Michigan is a good place to live. But I’ll stick with South Beach.
Why u guys all on this ref thing. Bad calls were made on both sides in the Dallas and Miami series. Did u watch the first 2 games? Miami didn’t get any calls. They allowed Dallas to play physical but for us, its a foul. Dirk lived on the line for those games. Now, when the table is turned, conspiracy. But in the Detroit series, the Pistons lost that for themselves. Yall need to get off Rasheed’s nut sack cause he’s a has-been like Antoine. I understand if u were talking about Prince, but Rasheed. Please. The comment about Pistons beating us at our home court in game 7, okay.(looking around, wondering what point was trying to be made)
Can we all just get along. Yall should be showing luv to your fellow east-coasters. I mean, I wanted the Pistons to win last year. I hate the west, especially the Spurs. C’mon u guys.
Its still funny how u guys hate on a city because there team won it all, not yours. Funny. Did u guys feel the same way when the Marlins won, beating the Yankees. Just curious.

P.S. The Pistons are not done just because Wallace left. Not all teams can be like the Patriots.(taking pay cuts, etc.) All the comments about Wallace being a trader, c’mon. You all have to remember, this is business. Money talks.
