I wished it in my post yesterday and now it’s a reality Joe Dumars is to be inducted into this years NBA Hall of Fame class. I knew it was just a matter of time but it’s great to see it happen this year. For those of you who don’t know much about him or if you have forgotten, take a look at this.

Congratulations Mr. Dumars and thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you are Detroit Basketball!

Joe Dumars was my absolue favorite basketball player when I was growing up… probably not a popular choice for a kid growing up in Stockton/Malone country in the days of Jordan. How could anyone not love the guy? He was amazing then, and he still is now. Congratulations, Joe!
