Wizards beat the Pistons for the second time this season. The Detroit fans were in the house and loud, but they just couldn’t give the Pistons the lift they needed. Detroit just couldn’t stop the Wizards offense no matter how much pressure they put on them. The high point of the game for me was when Flip took on Sheed’s personality by getting a tech late in the third quarter and shouting “ball don’t lie,” when Gilbert missed the free throw.

I watched this game and was left wondering why Tayshaun did not play very much. He had 7 rebounds and 10 points. He was 4-6 shooting. He played some good defense. He was grading Butler and during Tayshaun’s time on the floor Butler did score 18 points however when Tayshaun was guarding him be played him well. Tayshaun has had some trouble shooting lately but still played good defense and when it seems that he is getting his shoot back Flip puts him on the bench. I just don’t understand. There have been a few game that I have seen where the pistons have lost and I have questioned some the moves Flip has done in these loses. I just feel that there is something up. I have seem him bench both Chauncey and Hamilton when they are having good nights. Sorry for the venting I just don’t understand some of the moves Flip makes. I feel Tayshaun played a good game and should have played more than 24 minutes. He only missed one short in each quarter he played. In the third he only took 2. I realize he had 3 turn overs but he is not the only one. I just what I am saying I just don’t understand Flip sometimes. I am worried when it comes to the playoffs because the Pistons haven’t been playing very well. They ate having some good some good games but lately they have been tried. I would also like to point out that the pistons have lost 6 of there 12 loses on Saturdays. Not sure what that means but it must mean something.
