The Heart Of Champions

The Pistons have the best record in the NBA. They have one thing on their minds and that is to win every game they can to have home court advantage though the playoffs. Every team in the league wants to take them down and every team plays all out when going against the Pistons.

With that said, how can the Pistons be faulted for their competitiveness and the fire they bring every time they step on the hardwood? Most teams complain about fouls called against them and frankly if they didn’t it would be hard to take them seriously. Teams want to win and they will do anything and everything to get that job done. That’s how I see the Pistons. They won’t settle for anything less and why would they. For all the apposing teams, media and fans that complain that the Pistons bitch about every call, most Pistons fans wouldn’t have it any other way. It shows everyone out there that we will do whatever it takes to get the win.

After last nights loss to the Nuggets, who played a great game, I hope I don’t have to hear about the Pistons attitude because of the technical fouls they have received of late, especially the one Rip got early in the first quarter.

Now Rip deserved this foul and I’m glad he got it. After the game I replayed the incident and will show you the clip. As you can clearly see Ruben Patterson spun around and elbowed Rip in the stomach sending him to the ground. Rip gets up and says,”try that bullshit again,” and that is when they both get called for the tech. The Pistons have heart, they play with fire and will not let anyone push them around. So watch this clip so you can dispel any notion of the media’s poison that “the Pistons are at it again.”
