The score doesn’t reflect the fourth quarter domination the Pistons put on the Pacers but this one was truly Sheedtastic!
Chauncey, Rip and Tayshuan all had poor shooting nights but thanks to some sticky “D” when it counted and fourth quarter domination by none other than Sheed, the Pistons had this one locked up mid fourth quarter. Matt and Ian’s golden boy, Carlos “Miami Vice” Delfino was impressive, playing some suffocating defense, and racking up almost 19 minutes Thursday night. I must say Delfino is making a believer out of me. On a side note, for anyone who was at the Palace last night, what is the cheesy disco song they play after Delfino scores, and why does it pertain to Delfino? Maybe I didn’t hear it, I mean I get the gong and Billy Joel’s big shot, but this one stumped me.
Let’s get to the meat and potatoes of the game, Sheed, Sheed and more Sheed, with a game high 28 points and 9 rebounds Rasheed simply dominated the game after he got his 12th tech of the year. Roscoe had the whole Palace in a frenzy in the fourth quarter when he drained all of those three’s and put the game out of the reach for the Pacers. Now the Pacers did get some meaningless 3’s that made the final score close but it was during garbage time, and the game was already put away. I defiantly can skip my morning workout from all the exercise I got jumping out of my seat last night thanks to my man Sheed.
In honor of Rasheeds awesome game, I thought it fitting to make an all Sheed highlight video for this one.
