oh man…Dorko will fit right in. If it doesn’t work out with the Magic, maybe they can form a boy band – being in Orlando and all…

I just hope with this move of darko that Ben decides to stay at the end of the season. Darko may not be great now but with minutes me might turn out to be a great player and defender.

this deal is more then darko. we now dont have a back up point guard with carlos being inculded in this deal. This could be a big concern because billuips would have to play more minutes. i know u people like lidnsey but still can u realy on his ankle to hold up the second half and the season and hte playoffs. the pistons should think about bringing mike james back and resuce him from toronto. he can defend and score as well.

Don’t worry Joe D is looking for a backup point guard we have until Feb 23 to find one. He’ll make the right choice.

I don’t like this deal at all. I understand they did it for cap room, but will it help the Pistons win a championship..NO.

All I heard on teh sports radio in town over the past few years is that NBA people didn’t considedr Darko a biust, and Joe D routinely got cals from other GM’s offering quality players. Why didn’t he take one of those deals.

They better find another PG or they could be in trouble

just shu, yes this clears up cap space since Cato has a contract tat expires at the end of this season. it’s also been said that they might use Cato and pick(s) to try and aquire a veteran PG such as S.Claxton, T.Lue, or B.Knight.

And even though they wouldn’t manage to get another PG we still have Lindsey who last game played more minutes than Arroyo so I don’t think we should really worry about Billups getting more minutes than he can handle.

im so sick of everyone using the word potential to describe darko. everyone says hes still young as an excuse for him anymore. its clear why he wasnt sucess in detroit. he didnt give a shit. people talk about how he does good in pratice, big deal it counts in the games and when ever he played it seemed like he didnt want to be there or just didnt care. thats what pisses me off hte most about darko he never tried to fight for more minutes he just sat back like alittle bitch and showed no toughness. darko will just be a pussy in this league until he grows some balls. untill that point when he does he will be a pussy.

when someone gets drafted second in the first round, they should already be extremely good. “#2 draft pick” and “he has potential” are two phrases that don’t go together in my mind.
