Pistons vs. Heat December 29th

by | Dec 28, 2005 | 2 comments

Don’t expect a high scoring game with this one. The Pistons will grind it out and play a playoff type game just to let the Heat know it’s going to be a LONNGG June. All of Miami’s flaws will be exposed in this one. Shaq or should I say Pat Riley thinks that you can put 7 egos in one room and a winner just appears WRONG!!!!! A lot of other media outlets and people in the league at the start of the season and during the summer were saying with a healthy Dwayne Wade The Heat would beat us easily, well “Flash” meet the Interplanetary Pistons.

Let’s get to the match ups for this one.

C – Shaq Diesel (Or whatever he wants to call himself that hour) vs. Ben (Body) Wallace – Ben should really wear a helmet for this match up because we all know Shaqs only weapon is those ELBOWS he throws around.
Advantage – Detroit

PF – Udonis Haslem, Antoine (Employee #8) Walker vs. Sheed – Udonis Haslem has not been playing great this year and he’ll be used to ”hack a Ben” if it’s close at the end. Employee #8 loves the three so does Sheed, my money is on Sheed EVERY SHOT! Expect SHEED TO HAVE A HUGE HUGE HUGE GAME against those two.
Advantage – SHEED!!!

SF – James Posey vs. Tayshaun Prince – Posey has had his ups and downs this year still trying to get adjusted to the playing styles of two different coaches. The Prince of the Palace will be at home with his princess watching.
Advantage – Tay

SG – Flash vs. Rip – Flash has been The Heat’s rock all season. He’s been very good lately, gotten everything he ever wanted, a shoe contract, commercials, and endorsement deals. Well he has to face an ANGRY RIP HAMILTON. So P.Diddy or one of those marketing execs can’t help him now. We all know the All – Star game is coming soon. RIP WILL MAKE A STATEMENT TO THE NATIONAL VIEWING AUDIENCE that he should be on the All-Star Team, HANDS DOWN.
Advantage – Rip

PG – White Chocolate, The Glove vs. Chauncey (MVP) Billups – Read Above CHAUNCEY WILL MAKE A STATEMENT TO THE NATIONAL VIEWING AUDICED that he should be on the All-Star Team HANDS DOWN.
Advantage – Billups

Benches – Alonzo Morning, Jason Kapono vs Dice, Dale Davis, Mo and Darko – Yes that is not a typo I did say “DARKO” The Pistons will wear down Shaq will multiple looks on the defensive end and expect Mo to keep Kapono in cheek on the perimeter. As soon as Morning gets his first block and flex’s his muscles, does the happy dance and brake dances with Shaq and whatever else he can think of at the time, EVERYBODY should just start pointing at the scoreboard.
Advantage – DETROIT

Coaching-The LEGENDARY PAT RILEY vs. Flip – Pat had his time to shine now it’s Flip’s turn.

Expect a whole lot of bandwagon fans after this one. And NO THERE IS NO MORE ROOM on the bandwagon. Like Sheed says “I’m riding with them Cats”.
Predication Pistons 77 Heat 62

“BALL DON’T LIE,” oh and neither does the SCOREBOARD!

I whole-heartedly agree with your match-ups except for Rip over Wade. Rip is good, but on nights where other matchups are too good to pass up, Sheed vs. Ol’ Pumpkinhead Walker, Rip sometimes diappears. On the other side, the Heat can never afford to have Wade disappear, so there is always a supreme effort on their part to get him his shots.
