Pistons Take Down The Kings at The Palace

Richard Hamilton puts up 36 points to lead all scorers in the Pistons 109-98 win over the Sacramento Kings. Rip’s 36 gets overshadowed by a great game by Chauncey Billups in which his 19 assists were the most by any player in the NBA this season, bettering the 17 Phoenix’s Steve Nash had earlier this year. Mr. Big shot also added 28 points along with the great games by the whole starting five.

Rasheed Wallace added a spark with 19 points and Ben Wallace had 5 points and 17 rebounds. Ben added another gear to his game after making some comments about The Pistons lack of rebounding after the loss to the Jazz and his unhappiness with his own play.

Chauncey and Rip are both having All*Star seasons, let’s hope that the voters think so too.
