The Pistons vs. The Nuggets

by Natalie Sitto on March 21, 2012

The 16-29 #Pistons are in Denver to wrap up their five game Western road trip against  25-21 Nuggets Wednesday night.

  • The good: This road trip is over after Wednesday night’s game, but they come home to play the Heat on Friday and then back out on the road.
  • The bad: Rodney Stuckey is out with a sore toe, Ben Gordon will start in his place.
  • Who to watch: Our old friend Arron Afflalo and Wilson Chandler, who just signed with the Nuggets after playing overseas and was averaging nearly 27 points per game.  And don’t forget the newly acquired JaVale McGee, who lit up the Pistons last time he was at the Palace.
  • The unknown: Unknown whether you think this is a good or bad, but Charlie Villanueva is a game time decision with a sore ankle.  FYI this is not the ankle he was out most of the season with.

Tip off is at 9:00 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 The Ticket.

We just won the most disappointing loss of the season.

The real Ben Gordon showed up in the end game.

Funny, now we know what the Chicago Bulls fans use to go through.
Other than that I like the way the team recovered from such a big lead. Almost did a Matt Stafford.

that’s how BG plays when he knows he won’t get benched the first time he commits a turnover. Commit to Ben Gordon and he will commit to your team.

BG will get his chance now that Stuck is hurt.
The Heat and the Knicks are next.

GO PISTONS.
