Need4Sheed PodcastDanny and I break this thing down as the season comes to a close. I must say that this podcast was both therapeutic and fun for both of us.

Danny comes clean about his playoff predication while I seem to just get my frustrations out.

We talk Rodman, the man, the legend and the Jersey retirement ceremony. We again talk about the new kid on the block Greg Monroe. And the man the myth that #2 pick Darko and of course the newest Rodney Stuckey incident.

While Danny is never afraid to speak his mind, he’s got the feeling he’s going to get bashed after this one.

Take a listen and by all means give us your feedback and question for the next show.

You also may be wondering why I have a picture of a dog in this post. It’s because this is my dog…and she saved my life last week. We talked about it in the podcast so I thought I would let know see who saved my life …and (all that Danny cares about) this site.  Thanks Dee!

It was an emotional night at the Palace with a bulk of the Bad Boys on hand the Pistons honored Dennis Rodman by retiring his jersey and hanging it in the rafters of the Palace.

If you didn’t have the honor of following Dennis’s career you probably don’t realize what kind of person he really is.  The hair, tattoos and the stunts don’t even scratch the surface of the emotion, heart and will that Dennis had. Rodman left his mark on this franchise and not only will his jersey hang in the rafters of the Palace forever, the’s going to deservedly be inducted into the Basketball Hall of fame this year.

The Palace was electric and trust me when I tell you there wasn’t a dry eye (including my own) in the house when Dennis held up the t-shirt with a picture of Chuck Daly and Mr. Davidson that said Thank You Detroit on the back.

Be patient, this is a long video (about 30 min) and it may take a while to load.

Class act Dennis, no matter what you think you deserve all of this. We thank you!

There is a game going on at the Palace tonight against the Bulls, but with mathematical playoff elimination set aside the only thing that really holds any significance is the Return of Rodman.

Dennis will have his jersey retired at halftime of the Pistons-Bulls game Friday night (tonight). No it’s not an April Fools day joke like we all thought it was initially, this is the real deal and Dennis is in Detroit and was at the Pistons morning shoot around.

Watch a little Dennis history before the game tonight and enjoy The Worm at his finest.

I pulled this one from my need4Sheed vault.  I assumed we would want to catch up on a little Rodman before Friday night’s ceremony.

For those of you who didn’t have the pleasure of watching Dennis play in a Pistons uniform, trust me when I tell you it was awesome. The hard work and the heart and emotion shined through every time he stepped up on the floor.

Congrats Worm, we really do appreciate you.

To commemorate Dennis Rodman’s Jersey Retirement to the Rafter of The Palace of Auburn Hills, I made this wallpaper to honor The Worm.

The Pistons announced today that the club will retire Dennis Rodman’s No. 10 during a halftime ceremony April 1 when the Pistons host the Bulls.

“I’m pleased that we are honoring Dennis for his accomplishments as a player and his contributions to the success of the organization,” said Joe Dumars, the Pistons’ president of basketball operations and a teammate of Rodman’s. “His jersey retirement is well-deserved.” via The Freep

Greg Monroe will finish out the season in #10 and will change next season. No news yet to what Monroe will change his number to.

BAD BOYS Forever!
