The 0-7 #Pistons are finally home from their grueling 6 game road trip to take host the 5-2 Oklahoma City Thunder. Oklahoma City, who comes into the Palace on a  four-game winning streak,  already has a win over the Pistons last Friday night.

The good: The possibility of Andre and Greg playing together.
The bad:Detroit is staring at a team record for the worst start to a season. Detroit has opened with seven straight losses for the third time, doing so previously in 1962-63 and again in 1980-81.  The Thunder have won the last 7 games against Detroit.
The unknown: Can Andre Drummond have another game like he did Friday night against the Thunder?

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

The 0-5 #Pistons will be playing their 5th game on the road Friday night against the 3-2 Oklahoma City Thunder. The luck doesn’t look like it’s going to be on the Pistons side considering that they have yet to win, and that Detroit has dropped four visits to Oklahoma City.

  • The good: Greg Monroe.
  • The bad: Watch out for Ibaka, Westbrook and of course Durant.
  • The unknown: Will it be a migraine kind of night?

Tip off is at 8:00 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

The 23-42 Pistons are in Oklahoma to take on the 40-23 Thunder Friday night. The Thunder will be taking on a Pistons team that have lost nine straight on the road and have dominated them past few seasons.

  • The good: The Pistons played with heart against the Spurs and will hope that that spills over into their game against the Thunder.
  • he bad: The Thunder have taken 4 straight against the Pistons.
  • The unknown: How bad with Durant burn Detroit? He’s leading the league in scoring with 28.3 points per game.

Despite a season high 31 Points from Rodney Stuckey in Friday nights 98-109 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder John Kuester’s comments and body language may be telling an underlying story.

First look at his face while he decides how to answer Eli Zarets’ first question about Rodney’s play.

And then comes the answer.

After it seemed like something was bothering him another reporter decided to delve into what seemed to be Kuester’s discontent with Rodney’s play.

Is he upset? You be the judge.

From Dave Dial at MLive

“Aran Smith of NBADraft.net is reporting that the Detroit Pistons have made a promise to B.J. Mullens to select him with the 15th pick if he is still there when Detroit selects.

When rumors that the Pistons gave Rodney Stuckey a promise to draft him at #15 two years ago surfaced, The Pistons denied the rumor. Keith Langlois even wrote that the promise was not true, although he did pick Stuckey as the Pistons draft choice.” Read more at MLive.

This one has been floating around for more than a week now… Amir Johnson to Oklahoma to move up in the draft.

With the draft coming up on Thursday and all the rumors floating around, I think things might start coming together as to what kind of team Dumars is going to put on the floor come November.
