The #Pistons opened up the season Wednesday night and it really was a magical night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.  The fans got introduced to almost a whole new team, but the return of Chauncey Billups was magical.

To add to it in the fourth quarter when Chauncey was at the line shooting a free throw, the crowd started an MVP chant.

Here are the 2013 Detroit Pistons introductions.

I took this one myself, enjoy!

I told you that I was revamping the site, so I’ve gone through my archives and found a ton of Detroit Pistons Introduction videos I have.

I don’t care where you live, or who thinks their team has better introductions, but at their prime the Pistons set the bar for arena hype.  Here are the some Detroit Pistons intro to keep you busy for a while before the season starts.

The permanent page for the gallery is here: Detroit Pistons Introductions

A little different as intro’s go for the Detroit #Pistons. We had a The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, lighted wrist bands, a choir, a Little Led Zeppelin and…no fire.

It’s a large file, so please give it some time to load.

It was a bittersweet night at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Besides being the last game of the season, Thursday night’s game is possibly the last for Ben Wallace who’s set to retire.

He started for your Detroit Pistons one last time and the crowd couldn’t have been happier.

I did my best to capture the introduction for you.

Yes…that’s me I whistle LOUD.

We’ll miss you Ben.

I have two versions of the 2010-2011 Detroit Pistons intro’s for you. The first is the one form the broadcast. The second, is one that I took from my HD FlipVideo live from the game.

For my version, I cut out the Kid Rock video before the intros started.

In my opinion nothing compares to the intros of the ( 2007 and 2008 )past, but it’s always nice to see something fresh for the new season.  If you missed last season…I have that one too.

It’s not very often that the Pistons introductions are broadcast on television, so when they are I always make sure I get them up for you. These intros feature a couple of our favorites, Will Bynum and Jonas Jerebko.

Enjoy

Thanks to my up close and personal seat behind the Celtics Bench and my awesome Pistons themed Flip Video, here is Sheed’s return to The Palace of Auburn Hills for the very first time in green.

Straight from my unsteady hand to you in HD, with a special bonus, the Pistons opening intros.

I am sincerely apologizing for my whistling, I know I can get pretty loud at times.

As always, The Detroit Pistons 2009-2010 Detroit Pistons Introductions followed by a very heartfelt dedication to Pistons owner and Member of the Basketball Hall of Fame Bill Davidson.

Ben Wallace with a HUGE ovation and being there I can tell you that he had to have felt the love in the building.  Ben Gordon, who started in place of the injured Richard Hamilton got a nice ovation, but overall I was impressed by the love for Will Bynum….BYNUMITE.

No Sheed, no post intro dance, that I missed.

Still the real deal from Park Hill………………Chauncey BA BA BA Billups!

Chauncey Billups’ Palace introductions March 3rd 2009

What a night to be at The Palace!

And what a class act Billups is. Watch his post game comments and then tell me you don’t appreciate and miss his leadership and his attitude.  In red white and blue or light blue and yellow…he’s Ron Burgundy classy.
