The 4-14 Pistons are at home to host the 12-5 Miami Heat at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Dwyane Wade traveled to Detroit with his team, but it’s still unknown whether he’ll take the court for the Heat. The Heat look to avoid a fourth straight road loss as they try for a sixth consecutive road victory over the Pistons.

  • The good: Um…T-Pain if you’re a fan?
  • The bad: Um…getting throttled by the Thunder in convincing fashion Monday night. No Ben Gordon, no Will Bynum and again no Charlie V.
  • The unknown: Um…how bad will it be?

Kidding aside, it’s going to be a rough one for The Pistons. The Heat have held the Pistons to 85.6 points per contest during a five-game winning streak at The Palace and have won four in a row and nine of 10 overall versus Detroit.

If you’re going…enjoy the show. The T-Pain show at the half, because it’s highly doubtful that your Pistons will have much success tonight. And I assume if you’re one of probably the biggest crowds at the Palace this year, it’s because you’re there to see LeBron and the Heat.

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

The 25-45 Pistons are back in action Wednesday night to host the 48-22 Miami Heat at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

Miami is fighting for the first playoff spot in the East, while Detroit is 5 1/2 games back of Indian for the final playoff spot.

  • The good: It’s hard to give a good right now, but it helps that this is a home game and one of the last games (besides Boston) against a solid team.
  • The bad:The Pistons have dropped from 3-29 when giving up 100 or more points.
  • The unknown: How many Rony Seikaly jerseys will we see at the Palace? And is Chris Wilcox going to DOMINATE!

The 20-32 Pistons will host the Miami Heat Friday night at the Palace of Auburn Hills. The Heat will be looking for a fourth straight road win over the Pistons, while trying for an eighth consecutive victory overall.

Besides the fact that this is game is a sellout,  most of the attention is based off court with the impending sale of the Pistons to billionaire and Michigan native Tom Gores.

  • The good: Tom Gores and Dennis Rodman’s #10 will be retired April 1st.
  • The bad: Bandwagon Heat fans at the Palace.
  • The unknown: Will Rip Hamilton play at the Palace for the first time in over a month? He’s a game-time decision (groin pull).

If you didn’t know by not the Heat were handed a undeserved win on a silver platter courtesy of the NBA referee crew officiating the game. I wont go into the foul call on Ben Gordon that gave the heat the lead with 6 seconds left, but I will tell you this was a clear foul in anyone’s book.

With one play left and 2 seconds left on the clock you have to give it up to Kuester for calling this play.
