The 23-41 #Pistons are in Los Angeles for the first game of a four-game West coast trip to take on the 44-20 Clippers.

  • The good: It’s good to see Mr. Big Shot healthy and back playing basketball again for the Clippers. No matter what team he’s on, it’s always nice to see Chancey play and play well.
  • The bad: The Pistons are losers of four straight and it doesn’t look good for them heading into this trip. Detroit has lost 30 of 31 game on the road versus the West, including 13 straight.
  • The unknown: With a different player making a statement for Detroit it seems, who will be the player to step up against a very good Clippers team?

Tip off is at 9:00 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

If you’re thinking of going to one of the few remaining games at The Palace, you can get tickets directly from the Pistons with NO FEES.

One Day FREE Fantasy Contest - $100 in cash prizes

Draft Street LogoIf you haven’t heard yet, there’s a new way to play fantasy basketball that turns the season long grind into quick hitting one night leagues. And the best part is that you can win cash every single day. Perfect for someone like me who doesn’t really have time to update my team daily. You draft a team for one night and get paid out as soon as the games end that night. DraftStreet.com is at the forefront of this new trend in the fantasy world and is giving us a great promotion to kick off the season: a FREE one-day fantasy league with $100 in prizes exclusively for members of NEED4SHEED.

This free contest will be salary-cap style drafting where everyone tries to assemble the best team out of the available players. You will have a $100,000 budget to build a team of 2 forwards, 2 guards, 2 centers, and 2 utility players. Each NBA player has been assigned a price based on their expected fantasy performance.

You can adjust your roster up until the contest starts on Friday January 6th at 7:00pm ET at which time your rosters will lock and the Live Scoreboard will be available.

I’m doing this one for bragging rights, and if I happen to win the $100 I’m buying some Pistons tickets to give away on Need4Sheed.

Good Luck!

The 26-51 Pistons are home to take on the 24-53 New Jersey Nets. And guess what..you don’t have can’t to watch the game.  This one won’t be televised and maybe that’s a good thing.

The Nets have lost their last eight games at The Palace of Auburn Hills and could be without Deron Williams. The Pistons on the other hand are trying to end their four game skid

  • The good: The game won’t be televised.
  • The bad: The game won’t be televised.
  • The unknown: Stuckey or no Stuckey…that is the question.
