The Pistons vs The Celtics

Posted on March 15th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

The 23-43 Pistons are in Boston tonight to take on Rasheed Wallace and the 41-24 Celtics. I realize the Pistons aren’t the team they used to be, but this particular opening sentence to the NBA.com preview of the game sort of made me mad.
“It was a rough week for the Boston Celtics. A visit [...]

The Pistons vs The Wizards

Posted on March 12th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

The 22-42 Pistons are at home to take on the 21-41 Washington Wizards at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Simply put, this is a battle for lottery position.  The Wizards will attempt to break a five game losing streak to the Pistons and earn their first win at the Palace since Jan. 26, 2007.

A Little Practice Video

Posted on March 9th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

I’m not that great with my Pistons themed Flip Video just yet, but I did catch Jonas Jerebko double dribbling  along with Austin Daye and DaJuan Summers working on their jumpers.
Summers, Daye and Jerebko were really working hard for about an hour before tip, which they do before every game.  One would think [...]

Rodney Stuckey was “doing well” and was released from the hospital Saturday afternoon following his collapse on the bench Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
All tests done at the Cleveland Clinic came back normal, the team said. He was returning to Detroit and will undergo further tests.
“He’s doing well,” Pistons strength and conditioning coach Arnie [...]

Posted on March 5th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

The game is irrelevant at right now as we wait for more news on Rodney’s condition.  What we do know is that Rodney will stay overnight in Cleveland overnight for observation.

Detroit’s Rodney Stuckey was conscious and breathing on his own as he was taken to a hospital after collapsing on the Pistons’ bench during [...]

Nothing can be Good and Bad

Posted on February 18th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

The Pistons didn’t pull the trigger on any deal before the deadline today.  I know many of  you are very disappointed.  Now, and I can’t say that I blame you, but  I saw some crazy trade machine concoctions from a lot of Pistons fans over the last month.  I disregarded all of them to be [...]

Thanks Nets – From Pistons Fans

Posted on February 7th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

Pistons fans can thank The New Jersey Nets for putting some smiles on our faces. After a miserable night in Indiana on Friday, the Pistons bounced back with an impressive 92-99 win Saturday night.
Key Points:

A whopping 52% from the floor for the Pistons.

The Pistons vs. The Nets

Posted on February 6th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

The 16-32 Detroit Pistons are back home at the Palace to host the New Jersey Nets. The Nets would like to exact some revenge and The Pistons need to at least try to give some effort and play up to their potential. Yes that was a shot, but do you blame me? [...]

Misery in the Fieldhouse

Posted on February 5th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

A horrible performance by the Pistons in Indiana led to Detroit being pummeled by Indiana 83-107.

It was so bad I don’t really care that Ben Gordon, who scored 26,  may have gotten his shot back. Most of those points came in the  second half when the Pistons seemed to have waived the white flag and [...]

The Pistons vs The Pacers

Posted on February 5th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

The 16-31 Pistons are actually in place to start a winning streak with a win tonight in Indiana against the 17-32 Pacers.
Each team has posted just three winning streaks all season – the longest being five games – and the only one each has had since Dec. 12 was a three-game run in mid-January. They’re [...]
