Welcome Back Dyess – The Video

Posted on February 21st, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

The Pistons beat the Spurs in OT 101-109.  I’m gong to set most of the details aside like:

The officiating
The hack a Ben Wallace fiasco that Pop pulled.
The fact that Kuester left Ben in after 5 consecutive fouls.
The almost fit of rage and the headband toss from Ben when when he finally was pulled with a [...]

Welcome Back Antonio McDyess

The 19-35 Detroit Pistons host the 31-22 San Antonio Spurs this evening at The Palace of Auburn Hills. This marks the first time Antonio McDyess will be back at the Palace after signing with San Antonio this season.
I know you may not believe this but, I’m more excited to see Antonio’s [...]

Perfect Start, not so Perfect Finish

Posted on February 20th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

When the Pistons started the game hitting their first 11 shots you would have thought it was going to be one of those games at the Palace.  The Bucks had other ideas.  The Milwaukee bench outscored the Pistons bench 53-16 to a 91-85 victory at the Palace.
Key Points:

I know everyone is pointing at the Pistons [...]

Pulling for Antonio McDyess

Posted on January 7th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

Antonio McDyess has been a favorite of mine since he donned a Pistons uniform. That didn’t change when he switched to the silver and black of San Antonio. Dyess is just a stand up nice guy who has a heart of a champion…but with no ring.
I will never forget how he took that [...]

And it Continues – Pistons fall in San Antonio

Posted on January 7th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

The Pistons looked good for about 3 quarters last night against the Spurs, but a fourth quarter collapse made their now 11 game slide inevitable. Even Rip Hamilton’s’ game high 29 points was not enough as the Pistons lose another to the Spurs 92-112.
Key Points:

Jason Maxiell, who didn’t play a minute in the [...]

The Pistons vs. The Spurs

Posted on January 6th, 2010 by Natalie Sitto

The 11-22 Pistons are in San Antonio tonight on the second game of a back to back to take on the 20-12 Spurs.
Just to put things into perspective, Detroit has not had a losing streak this bad since dropping 13 straight to conclude the 1993-94 season and finish 20-62. And for those of you not [...]

The Jazz curse continues – Pistons lose in OT

Posted on November 22nd, 2009 by Natalie Sitto

Forget the fact that Detroit has now lost 4th straight, forget the fact that they haven’t beaten the Utah Jazz since 2005 or in Utah since Karl Malone was on court, what you should remember is this current Pistons squad gave us one heck of a game to watch.  They may have lost in OT [...]

The Pistons vs. The Timberwolves

UPDATE:
Pistons 114 Timberwolves 122 (Box Score)
Defense…. We knew it was going to be a problem, and I know it’s the preaseon, but when you score 114 points that is usually an indication that you won the game.
Video Highlights

The 3-3 Pistons host their last preseason game a tonight at 7:30 PM at the Palace of Auburn [...]

Looking Back and Moving Forward

Posted on May 4th, 2009 by Natalie Sitto

As we wait for something, significant to happen with the roster there are many things to ponder as Pistons fans. Me, I’m going for the “thanks for the memories” sentiment as I watch what is unfolding during the post season while my Pistons are painfully missing in action.
