The Detroit Pistons will play their second pre-season game Thursday night at the Palace of Auburn Hils against the World Champion Miami Heat.  Detroit did a number on the visiting Maccabi Haifa 91-69, with Andre Drummond leading the way with 17 points.

Expect to see Jonas Jerebko, who was out Tuesday as well as Mo Cheeks playing a lot of the new fellas and the old (Billups and Stuckey) to try to figure out a rotation for the upcoming season.

Tip off will be 7:30 pm and again won’t be locally broadcast on TV, but you can listen to it on 950AM.  If you want to check the game out yourself you can head on over to the Palace to watch live.  I’m not going to lie, I didn’t pay a bit of attention to the first pre-season game since I had to chance to go see the Tigers tie their series with the A’s 2 games all.  I’m not counting on paying much attention tonight either considering it’s Winner take all for the Tigers tonight in Oakland.

Go TigersHave a blast if you head out to the Pistons – Heat game, I’ll be glued to my TV to watch the ALDS.

Go Pistons but really…….GO TIGERS!

pistons will win the game against the heat believed me!!!

  4. Julian says:

Stuckey breaks thumb in a car door accident and will have surgery to repair it.
This will give KCP some valuable playing time/experience, as Billups backup at SG.

  5. edt says:

kcp dont look ready for the nba. josh smith I like him taking the wide open 3′s he seems to be able to hit them if he is given time. The rest of the team is pathetic from the 3, charlie, kcp, singler where is luigi does he suck or something?

Starting to understand why coach dont think kcp deserves the starting role right now. Needs work.

Drummond & moose are the best, but everyone knows that. If we can have some shooters to spread the floor for them. Billups, jennings were out, billups because he’s old and jennings for a toothache. Stuckey broke his thumb in a car door, whut? Come on stuck.

Love seeing bynum out there playing good minutes, wish we could have had a Siva sighting too.

  6. MathiasQ says:

If Billups and Jennings where to play we should have won, they can hit dose 3,s! JJ was good from the bench, but where is Luigi?

  7. Julian says:

Gigi is hurt. The heat had most of their starters playing. We need to be better from 3 pt land.

  8. Julian says:

    Gigi has a bad hamstring.

  9. Drew says:

Kyle Singler starting 2. Stuckey’s injury and KCP’s rookie-ness make that all the more clear.
