The Pistons vs. The Nets

by Natalie Sitto on March 18, 2013

The 23-45 #Pistons are back home for one game to take on the 38-28 Brooklyn Nets Monday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

  • The good: Despite losing both games to the Nets that they have played this season, Detroit could have gone away the winner of each of those games. The Nets won by a combined five points in those games.
  • The bad:
The Pistons have lost eight games in a row and are a loss away from their longest home losing streak in over 12 years. Brooklyn is a good basketball team and is right behind the Knicks for the top of the Atlantic division.
  • The unknown: Can Rodney Stuckey continue playing the best basketball of his season? No word yet on Brandon Knight’s status though it doesn’t look like he’ll be playing in this one. It’s also unclear whether Lawrence Frank will be on the bench for Detroit Monday night.

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

If you’re thinking of going to one of the few remaining games at The Palace, you can get tickets directly from the Pistons with NO FEES.

Without Knight and Dre, the Pistons lineup looks pretty weak and it shows on game day.

They better change the address of the Palace from Championship drive to Lottery drive.

Thank god there are only a dozen or so games left on the schedule for the 2012-13 Pistons. Hopefully next year they can add some talent.
