The Pistons vs. The Jazz

The Pistons vs. The Jazz

The 23-42 #Pistons are in Utah for the second game of their West coast trip and the second game of a back-to-back Monday night to take on the 32-31 Jazz.

  • The good: The Jazz have lost 7-of-8 overall.
  • The bad: As most anyone knows the Pistons can’t beat the Jazz. Detroit has not been able to twin a game against the Jazz in their building in nine seasons.
  • The unknown: Can Brandon Knight bounce back after being posterized by DeAndre Jordan? You have to give it up to Brandon for having the guts to try to stop that play.

Tip off is at 9:00 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

If you’re thinking of going to one of the few remaining games at The Palace, you can get tickets directly from the Pistons with NO FEES.

jazz playing for the last playoff spot, detroit counting the days until summer.

I’m giving the over/under as 8 minutes before I can’t stand to watch any more.

    R.I.P. B.Knight.
Wiki already wrote in his BIO he died of being dunked on.
There are gif.s when the grave falls down on him lying on the floor after the dunk.

And now he’s rolling his ankle. Are you serious?

I told myself not to watch any games till the next season, but I gave the Pistons a chance, as always. And I’m frustrated once again. Damn.

Since 2009 I’ve been telling myself that it will get better next year…. I’ll keep on saying it and someday it will happen; hopefully. :)

I just think to win games, you need a solid bench to replace the starting lineup in games if they cannot get things done. And we don’t have a bench that shows up 1 out of three nights.

(Look at San Antonio or Miami. Their bench is always there to step it up if a James, Wade, Duncan or Parker cannot always get it done)

Let’s see what happens next season with BK. I’d give him one more season to adjust if Calderon stays, and I hope he stays so we have a real starting PG.

statistically we have one of the best benches in the NBA

What we dont have drummond in the rotation and one more piece. Jose just got here, wait til he actually learns which guys on our team can shoot.

      • Markov7 says:

exactly what we need is starters we got bench full of benchers lol bynum singler max jj all very good benchers i ll even say stuckey although i m fed up with him and would like him traded

        • edt says:

stuckey doesn’t provide what we need now, moose drummond we are clogged in the paint, we are TOP FIVE inside the paint, along with clippers, houston, sactown and denver.

We have the excellent 3 point shooters, Singler, Jose, and Knight, but what we really need is Drummond to heal up and for us to put our best lineup out there and let them mesh,

Jose, Brandon, Singler, Moose & Drummond.

Should be good enough for a pretty deep playoff run. This lineup is a bit weak defensively so they need to run and generate fast points on offense, spot up 3′s stuff like that.

          • Franz says:

Good lineup for the offensive side. But I think it will be hard for Jose to guard good PGs. Brandon will hopefully get better at guarding the two and Singler is starting to be a really good defender night to night. Moose still a little weak.

            Already getting excited again!
