The Pistons vs. The Rockets

Posted · 13 Comments

The 0-6 #Pistons will be playing their last road game, of this the longest road trip of their season Saturday night in Houston against the 2-3 Rockets. The Rockets have lost three straight heading into Saturday’s game against the winless Pistons.

  • The good: Andre Drummond and his 22 points in 20 minutes!
  • The bad: James Harden, who pretty much single handily beat the Pistons on Halloween.
  • The unknown: Every Piston fan is going to be eagerly awaiting more minutes from Andrea and the pairing of Drummond and Monroe. Will Lawrence Frank do the right thing?

Tip off is at 8:00 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

Horrible game. Pretty visible that all hat losing has affected he teams morale. Kept it close for a while but now trail by 21.

  2. Nikhil says:

    Bring back Larry brown petition…

  3. edt says:

that’s a team that is shooting for another 8th pick in the lottery

    lin 8 or 9 assists 0 turnovers

knight threw a turnover for every assist he made

that’s not why we lost tho, this team was awful from top to bottom except of course for drummond, he’s gasoline, on fire every night

I don’t see the Pistons winning their next two games either…

  5. paul says:

I dont see them winning any games besides maybe cavs or bobcats. Seriously every logo i look at on that list on the right seems like a much better team. I think im gonna put some money on it actually.

  6. Drew says:

is it too early to look for number 1 picks in the draft?

  7. ToNi says:

This is by far the most embarrassing thing I ever seen in NBA. This is a team that has no goal that has no leader and no heart. I was excited to star this season but ones I see lack of work our players are putting in that we don’t need here and wish they were gone already. Charlie,Daye,Tay,Stucky,Max, I don’t care what other say or how well they play in ONE game but these guys got to go! Joe Dumars needs to make a change NOW or Tom Gores needs to make a change and FIRE JOE D. For god sakes can we get RUDY GAY or at least in summer sign a star. Tom Gores needs to step his game up and spent money on PLAYERS not bringing RUN DMC to perform!!! Knight needs a veteran to teach him, we have no SHOOTING GUARD! We have NO small forward because we use Jerebko as a PF when he should be our starting SF and Singler a back up. We have no PF Charlie is TRASH so is MAX a midget in that position that does good in ONE game and is for for next 10, We have no Center cuz Monroe should be a PF and should improve his 10-15 foot jump shoots cuz that boy cant jump for shit……. And Drummond is still young but I’m not too high on him… Drummond ak.a Kwame Brown is what ill call him if no one is out there to teach this young guy how to be a true CENTER ! I’m just so pissed that we are laughing stock of NBA now we are the new BUCKS AND BOBCATS!

  8. Julian says:

Settle down ToNi but you are right in too many ways.

The funny thing is that we played better in the second half of last year than we are this year with the same starting lineup. For whatever reason it is not working now.
Frank needs to make some tough decisions on the lineup soon.
It could mean having Maxiell and Tayshaun come off the bench and play less minutes. Pretty obvious that Drummond and Moose need to start together. We need an upgrade at the shooting guard positon next year big time.

  9. ToNi says:

    Starting 5 : PG-Knight,SG-Stucky,SF-Jerebko,PF-Monroe,C-Drummond
    Bench : PG- Bynum, SG-English SF-Singler PF-Maxiell – Viacheslav Kravtsov

We ain’t going anywhere with this roster we have so why not change it up. Joe D somehow needs to ship away others I have not add on this lineup their time is done here in Detroit and bringing them back every year like JOE D keeps doing it’s pissing off fans and our beautiful palace is EMPTY or should i say DEAD at game nights.

  10. Julian says:

What about Tayshaun? Gores is paying him a big salary and he is fairly productive although he has slowed down.

  11. ToNi says:

Tay a.k.a Grandpa no thanks. Please! Tay days are over. Tay Charlie Daye Stucky Maggette. All this team needs a to go guy to close out the game for us. A young SF or SG a true SF and SG. I would love to try get Rudy Gay here or Ariza or even Josh Smith. Picture Josh Smith our starting SF with Monroe and Drummond Oh Boy! And having a SG like Mathews from Portland Blazers cuz Stucky sucks and always will!
