The Pistons vs. The Grizzlies

by Natalie Sitto on November 30, 2012

The 5-11 #Pistons are on the road to take on the 11-2 Grizzles in Memphis. It won’t be an easy task for Detroit to go into Memphis where the Grizzlies are 7-1 on the season.

  • The good: Detroit has won five of eight and two in a row for the first time this season. Brandon Knight is averaging 22.0 points on 53.7 percent shooting, including 9 of 14 from 3-point range in the Pistons last three games.
  • The bad: Memphis, who has the best record in the league, has allowed just 89.4 points per game at home. The Grizzlies are no joke!
  • The unknown: We may see extended minutes from Andre and Greg together to try to contain Randolph and Gasol. There are two ways this could go, Detroit will compete and likely fold at the start of the fourth quarter or this one will be a blowout for Memphis. I’m hoping I’m wrong about both scenarios.

Tip off is at 8:00 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

On the road against the best team in the league is going to be tough.
But this will show us how improved we are or how much more we need to improve to get to be a top NBA team.
