The Pistons vs. The Hawks

by Natalie Sitto on March 9, 2012

The 13-26 #Pistons are hosting the 23-13 Atlanta Hawks Friday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.  The Hawks have won the past three against Detroit and  nine of the last 12. They’ve also taken the last two at The Palace.

  • The good: The Pistons are winners of 7 of their last 10 at home.
  • The bad: Brandon Knight’s no-show against the Lakers.
  • Who to watch: Josh Smith, who has asked for a trade out of Atlanta. So start talking about who to give up to get Smith in a Pistons uniform.
  • The unknown: Atlanta’s leading scorer Joe Johnson has missed four straight games and six of seven with a knee injury, but his status is unknown against the Pistons.

Head out to the game and get this cool Brandon Knight Poster.  Plus a Doug E. Fresh Halftime show.

Great group rates on Pistons Tickets directly from the Pistons with no Ticket fees!.

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports Plus. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 The Ticket.

Great win tonight! I was predicting we’d lose this one but man these guys proved me wrong. That Moose block was sick. Good to see my man Maxzilla beasting again.9-11 shooting 19 points 12 rebounds man Mad Max dominated the hawks front court. I can see another W tomorrow against the raps.

Next four games are against beatable teams. Problem is three of them are on the road, where we stink. Hope to change that around.

I was gonna say that myself: we should try to get Smith in Pistons uniform. Not just because he would look good in it, but he would be a perfect fit I believe. He is still young, good scorer, defensive minded. I always wanted to see him play for the Pistons.
