The Pistons vs. The Hornets

The Pistons vs. The Hornets

The 5-20 Pistons are playing their second game of a back to back as they host the 4-19 Hornets. New Orleans would like a win in Auburn Hills to avoid losing 14 of their last 15 games. Detroit would like to make this two win in a row after stomping out their losing streak Friday night against the Bucks.

  • The good: The Pistons one game winning streak. That’s the best we can do people so we are counting it. Greg Monroe and Brandon Knight just keep going strong. Eric Gordon and Jarrett Jack are out for NO.
  • The bad: Charlie V (injury update) and Ben Gordon still out for Detroit, no word on Bynum who’s status seems to change depending on who you ask.
  • Who to watch:Brandon Knight, Moose Monroe for Detroit and Greivis Vasquez for the Hornets, who has the daunting job of replacing Chris Paul.
  • The unknown: Will Brandon do it again? After excusing Chris Kaman from team activities last week while trying to trade him, New Orleans reactivated him Friday. Kaman isn’t expected to be available in this game but could return Monday versus Sacramento.

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

  1. Julian says:

I like our last starting lineup that coach Lawrence decided on.
I like our chances against a very bad Hornets team.
Both teams will score less than 100 points in this game I predict and
I see a 2 game winning streak in our future.

Kaman is making about $14 million a year.
No wonder they could not find a trade for him.
He is a good backup center but not worth that much cash.

  2. Drew says:

I think DaJuan Summers starts for N.O. now.
