The Pistons vs. The Hawks

The Pistons vs. The Hawks

The 4-15 Pistons are back home for 80′s night to host the 13-6 Atlanta Hawks at the Palace of Auburn Hills. T-Mac and Jerry Stackhouse, two former Pistons will be in the house to play a game of basketball, but most importantly to see Morris Day during his halftime show. Not to mention get their copy of this dreamy Jonas Jerebko Poster.

  • The good: This team showed that they could compete with any team on any given night.
  • The bad: That doesn’t mean they have learned how to win against any team on any given night.  No Bynum, Gordon, Charlie V and T Prince is a game time decision for family reasons.  The Pistons are the only team yet to reach 100 points in a game.
  • Who to watch: T-Mac, Josh Smith, Joe Johnson, Knight, Monroe and hopefully Daye again.
  • The unknown: Will this the team that showed up Wednesday night at the Palace against Miami show tonight.

You can go check out the Pistons for next to nothing with exclusive deals designed for Need4Sheed readers.

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

Two moral victories. Hell yeah I’ll take a moral victory, I don’t care what our record is, we played two damn good games in a row. You done good pistons, don’t get discouraged, you are swimming downstream now.

  2. pistonsfan101 says:

Kaman’s actively getting traded. You think Pistons showing interest?

  3. edt says:

Why is Kaman on the bench? He must be really terrible.

  4. Lori says:

Totally agree with what edt said about the moral victories. And the Pistons are really well coached.

Pistons finally scored a 100 points!

Hopefully these last two days are indicating the direction we are starting to head in. I think it is, but well see when we face a lesser foe. See if we still get up for those games. Great backcourt play tonight, monroe was a man out there. N maxiel?!!? Whered that come from?

  7. Kerghan says:

Agree with everyone good performance again tonight.

BK had 8 assists and 0 turnovers, throw in 20 point an excellent game from him.

Moose goes for 20-10 two games in a row.

Funnily enough tho in these last 2 games we have had no Prince or Gordon not to mention CV or Bynum. Interesting.

As for Kaman I will guess no as NO will want draft picks and Joe D doesn’t want to give them up. That being said I wouldn’t completely rule it out.

  8. Julian says:

It took OT to score the 100 points but they did it.
Nice game from several players such as Moose, Knight, Maxiell, JJ , Stuck and Daye.
Maxiell seems be playing with determination and with a lot more confidence lately.
You can not have 2 starters (Wallace and Wilkins) that combine for 2 points for the whole game. Russell was 0-4 off the bench. Good passer but can not score well enough for the NBA.
I would start Daye and Maxiell and see what they can do getting starter game minutes.

  9. Tycoon says:

One word for the Hawks – Lucky.

  10. J.D says:

Joe.D No excuse if he lets this slip away
