With just a handful of game left in this unstable Pistons season, one thing we can count on is that we won’t be seeing Jonas Jerebko return.

Need4Swede - Jonas Jerebko

It’s official and I’m OK with that.

Jonas is one of the bright spots on the roster. A kid we knew nothing about when the Pistons drafted him turned into a fan favorite as soon as he stepped on the court. How can you not like him? He’s a legitimate talent, a hard worker an all around good guy and he’s not too bad to look at.

Need4SwedeI know he was itching to get back on court, but why risk it?

Knowing Jonas and his work ethic, I’m sure he’ll come back stronger than ever next season.

There is a Need4Swede in Detroit, and I for one am happy to wait ’till next season to reap the benefits of or Swedish Viking.

And until he return…I’m setting this as my text message tone.

Here’s to wishing for a starting lineup next year of PG) Stuckey, SG) Daye, SF) Jerebko, PF) Monore, and (insert center here; M. Gasol?).

  2. edt says:

i dont want daye to start he has absolutely no defense and is better off the bench of course the same is said of charlie v, and ben gordon

the truth is we have a team full of 6th men. let prince walk, trade ben gordon, keep charlie V off the bench, buyout rip, let wilcox go, keep daye off the bench, trade for 2 nba starters they dont have to be elite, but they need to be good enough, new coach of course, no elite level just good enough, id like to keep q but that’s not how this game is played, fire joe dumars, this is in fact the team that joe built and it sux, if we can resign tmac for the minimum obviously we keep him, but he will probably walk, let summers go, and start whoever our #7 pick is, be he a point guard or a tree, bynum will also come off the bench

for this pistons team addition by subtraction, we have too many 6th men dump half of them and start whoever we get in the draft or whatever workable nba pro starter we can get.

  3. The Fluidics says:

I’m cool with it too, it’d be pointless for him to rush a comeback for a few throw away games.
