The Pistons vs. The Hawks

by Natalie Sitto on March 20, 2011

The 25-44 Pistons are in Atlanta for a 2 pm matinee against the 39-30 Hawks Sunday afternoon. The Hawks currently sit at the 5th playoff spot in the east, but with their play of late really need to start winning again to assure that they make their fourth consecutive playoff appearance.

Since Feb. 8 Atlanta has lost 12 of 18 while averaging 89.3 points, a league low over that span.

  • The good: The Pistons are coming off two impressive wins, and the Hawks have lost 6 of their last 8 game, although that usually works in the wrong way for Detroit..
  • The bad: Can Detroit get up for an early Sunday game?
  • The unknown: The juggling lineups continue.

Wilcox: 18 pts. 4 rebounds.
Daye: 5 pts. 2 rebounds and clearly struggling guarding Atlanta’s bigs… What, are we afraid Wilcox will foul out with a minute to go?
