The Pistons vs. The Hornets

The Pistons vs. The Hornets

The 8-19 Pistons are hosting the 16-10 New Orleans Hornets Sunday evening at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

The big question is, will Detroit bounce back from their abysmal performance against the Clippers?

Charlie Villanueva: “This one hits home, we know what was at stake. We know we laid an egg. We embarrassed ourselves out there. We all know that.”

The last time the Pistons met the Hornets it did not go well, when David West and Marco Belinelli combined for 47 points and Chris Paul had 14 assists as the Hornets cruised to a 93-74 victory.

Another big question is, will Kuester shake up the starting lineup? It may just happen, the Pistons starters scored just 29 points in their loss to the Clippers, a season low for a team.

UPDATE: Ben Gordon and Charlie V to Start

Hopefully Detroit will be able to bounce back. They’ve been down on the dumps lately.

  2. pistons 4 life says:

Wow, 27 games into the season and we’re still changing the starting lineup. This coach really knows what he’s doing. Why was he not trying things like this like maybe……….since the beginning of the season. This team is terrible. Play the players that need experience and are a part of your future instead of being loyal to guys that should have been traded 1 to 2 years ago.

  3. Drew says:

Wtf? Shot clock expires, Bellinelli bricks it off the backboard, doesn’t go in, and Okafor tips it in. And it counts? F that.

And it’s never good to get into your biggest deficit at the end of a quarter.

  4. junior says:

is stuckey hurt? y the fukk hasnt he playesd yet at halftime? is kuester mad at him again? hes the best player on the team and your not gonna play him? is kuester retarded or what. i dont have anything else to say other then im losing my confidence in kuester, and i think the players have as well. maybe thats y stucks not playing. he might have voiced his thoughts again.

  5. edt says:

stuckey rip & tmac r hurt.

  6. edt says:

by the way, this team doesn’t need a new coach

they need a psychiatrist specializing in bi-polar disorder

  7. tariq says:

now thats what im talking about, ben gordon needs to start, rip hamilton is too much of a baby, who agrees with me.PISTONSSSSSSS WIN

  8. Lucas says:

The future of the Pistons right here, no Rip, no Stuck, just good basketball

  9. Tycoon says:

That’s it! Thats the starting lineup I’m talking about! Hope TMac is well. 18 wins to go to tie our last season’s record!

  10. jayg108 says:

Maxiell had a heck of a game. Great pick on Will’s drive to the basket and those 2 steals late in the game really helped.

Looks like they all had their heads were in the whole game.

    • jayg108 says:

guess that last comment about having their heads in the game came out wrong.

but speaking of heads. I guess BG was stuck up in his head during the first half. Great recovery in the second half.

  11. N1ck says:

Well, a nice win. Another “pissed Pistons day”.
Next game in Torornto we’ll lose by 20…

Hopefull for a trade, this team needs it hard…
