The Pistons vs The Celtics

by Natalie Sitto on November 2, 2010

The Pistons are back home to take on the Boston Celtics Tuesday night at The Palace.  After losing their first three in (in disastrous fashion), Detroit would like to get their first win of the season.  Their 0-3 start is their worst since the 1999-2000 season.

Injury Update:

Will Bynum – Out
Charlie Villanueva – Game time decision
Rip Hamilton – Questionable
Chris Wilcox – Doubtful
Boston:
Shaquille O’Neal – Doubtful

I believe, but not certain, the game will also be on NBA TV. They are showing the free previews of all games through tonight…Pistons win tonight. I can feel it!

Not sure how we are going to make it through this game without Wilcox. What a shame.

Celtics Basketball Clinic at The Palace…

Sucks to be a Pistons fan today. These highly paid individuals aren’t even (at least) TRYING to play defense wtf!!! Is there anyone in the team that could pump up this so called NBA team? Prince and Wallace seem not interested.

these pistons are just completely overmatched. Prince tries to carry more of the scoring load but the celtics play great defense and they aren’t taking the night off.

I dont like seeing greg monroe walking the floor on a fast break. Bench the rookie if he thinks he’s too good to run. I also don’t like seeing greg monroe in the post with his hands down. If you want someone to throw you the ball get your hands in the air.

For some reason I don’t find all the missed defensive assignments so troubling, we all know detroit plays awful defense, I guess I’m used to it. What bothers me more is to see a piston not running the floor on a fast break. Come on, the celtics are the 2nd oldest team in the nba and they run the court better than a bunch of 20 year olds? I also dont like seeing the celtics grab every lose ball.

Stuckey just one thing: Thanks for the blow by and thunder dunk man that was good.

Bad game. Best to not dwell on it. No one looked motivated to stand up to the Eastern Conference champs. Hopefully we were saving that energy for tomorrow. Moving on.
