With the news that Austin Daye will start at power forward for the Pistons Wednesday night in their season opening it’s only fitting to post this video interview Austin gave to Tom Leyden (@TomLeyden) of Channel 7 WXYZ.

Seems like a good kid.

Am hoping for some success for him early in the season especially to build his confidence as i think if he does get that confidence there will be no stopping him.

Austin definitely showed why Joe picked him. If he continues to commit and grow defensively you’re looking at a future all star.
