The Pistons vs. The Bucks

Posted · 18 Comments

The Pistons are in Milwaukee tonight, hopefully to bounce back from the pretty ugly home opening loss against the Thunder last night.

Richard Hamilton will not be in uniform again for the Pistons.  Without Rip in the lineup last night the Pistons shot 37.1 percent from the field, but Ben Gordon filled in and scored 25 points while starting  Rip’s spot.

Tip is at 8:30 pm and will broadcast on FSN. If you can’t catch the game on television, tune into the call on AM 950 wwj or the game cast over at NBA.com.

Since it’s Halloween…I’ll wish you a Happy one,  and add this image I pulled from The Pistons.com splash screen.  Hmmmm…. Does any of that look familiar?  It’s Stuctacularly Bynumite if you ask me.

you can watch the game at nba.com they are having a free preview of nba league pass its awesome!!!!!

  2. ski dp3 says:

I bought League Pass yesterday. Now I’m watching tons of basketball to make up for the price. I feel terrible that I have to pay so much just to watch Detroit (above all others) on TV when if I lived a mile more north I’d have FSD. Oh well, I get the convenience of the games being replayed 5 times.

  3. TDP says:

If only games lasted just two quarters…

    Sickening.

  4. Th3 Answ3r says:

These refs are something. I know one of the three is a legit ref, but the other two? Lmfao

  5. Walter5 says:

another setback for us in milwaukee.. long way coming up 4 the pistons

  6. pistons fan says:

pistons are sucking cant stand watching the game. the pistons were playing like a championship team in the first half but the second half they played worse than the sacramento kings!!!!!!!!!!! so frustrated!!!!!!!!!

  7. Hlmk says:

ouch, first you lose against OKC then the Bucks, hopefully you guys can pick it up before you have a season like last year

  8. David says:

    It’s cause Rip is out!

  9. Richie says:

FSD was started showin the game, then it went black here. I listened to the broadcast online. It was frusterating to listen to, but I didn’t see it, so I can’t really judge what went on. All I can say is that having two awesome shooting gaurds works out a lot better for us than having one. With Rip avialable our second unit builds on a lead. Without him, we lose steam in the second half. of course, that’s only a 3 game sample size, but it’s something to think about.

  10. Ryan says:

Aw man, the first half was great again, but the second half was terrible.

It was a repeat of last night against the Thunder.

The third quarter has been terrible so far this season for the Pistons, and tonight was a full on display… 36-14 third quarter scoring… ouch.

  11. AL says:

STUCKEY IS THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!!! TOO DAMN SELFISH!!!!!!!! PASS THE DAMN BALL PLZZZZZZ. RIP HURRY BACK PLZ. TOO MUCH 1 ON 1 PLAYING MOSTLY FROM STUCKEY AND BYNUM ( ESPECIALLY STUCKEY) HOW MANY TIMES DID THIS DUDE GET REJECTED THIS SEASON, WHILE GOING TO THE BASKET FOR A SHOT FOR HIMSELF WHEN HE COULD HAVE PASSED THE BALL??? DAMN!! WE TRADED CHAUNCEY FOR THIS?? LOL. THE PROBLEM IS AT THE POINT GUARD POSITION. WE NEED SOMEONE LIKE ANDRE MILLER. TRADE STUCKEY. HE AINT GONNA WORKOUT. TRUST ME. LOOK AT BILLUPS IN DENVER. DENVER BECAME GREAT AS SOON AS BILLUPS ARRIVED

  12. doran says:

easy with the caps lol. Here is my recap of the team:

First of all, everyone is asking for a trade with rip, we as you guys can see, we are disfuncational without rip. Prince would be a better give up then rip. Rip brings great offense and defense to the game. He drains big shots and doesnt turn the ball over. He gets other shooting gaurds tired from trying to run all over the place trying to guard him.

Second of all: Stuckey. He is trying to do too much instead of playing like a true point gaurd. As of now, Will Bynum should be starting because he is a much more effective player. Stuckey needs to start distrubuting the ball and stop trying to put everything on his shoulders. We know your trying to fill the big shoes of chauncey, but you wont get their right away, play simple and easy.

Third: Centers and Power Forwards are by far the weakest part of our game. When Kwame Brown and Jason Maxiell come in the game, we get dominated by the other players. Ben is doing great, but his replacement arent. Until you can play good kwame, you wont live up to your expectation. Maybe we should give wilcox some more time…??!!

Fourth: What is up with the pistons making a random player Ive never heard of an all star. Jennings? WTF? I never heard of this guy in my life, yet he looked like tony parker driving in on us. Stop making these random players look better then they are. I dont know what the key to this is, but that’s whats killing us.

Fifth and Last: CV31 please start playing better. You need to stop getting in early foul trouble and start playing better. I know you have only played three games and its a new team, but you better get your self outta the hole your diggin before it becomes to late

Now i know its the first three games, but this is the most crucial time for your team to good. if you start out from the gates good you will gain confidence and keep the momentum going. so please guys, make me happy!

    • Serbiaz Piston says:

Doran, I totally agree with you. Stuckey needs to play like a REAL PG and not forcing the same shots every night. I hope when Rip comes back we’ll play better again.

      GO PISTONS!

  13. Dhrumil says:

Doran, I agree with you on this. People talk about trading Rip. But Rip is CLEARLYYY our BEST player without a doubt. He’s the new leader and mentor and the guy we run the offense through. We can’t afford to give him up. As for stuckey, hes trying wayyy to hard to do too much. He needs to play the point guard role. He’s the future of the team without a doubt, but he has to step it up now. But, Will Bynum really puts us in a hole. Everytime he comes in the game, it seems like he just comes in to shoot the ball, he doesnt care about winning, he only cares about his stats. The ball never moves when Bynum is running point. But if you watch basketball, you should have heard of Brandon Jennings. He was the number 1 highschool player in the nation a couple years ago, he was the next big thing. I’ve heard rumors that we might trade Bynum and Kwame Brown and a first rnd draft pick for boozer. Even though boozer only has a year left on his contract, we aren’t losing much giving up bynum and kwame, and gaining boozer might put us back into the race for the ship. Just something to think about…
    AND RIP!! PLEASE HURRY BACK!

  14. zkranc says:

We could really use Deron Washington right now!

  15. doran says:

ya lol i know who brandon jennings was, i just over did it because how mad i was. i know hes the one that went to europe instead of college, (ps. not a bad move at all). but i still thing that we should of contained him a little better. and i wouldnt mind that trade for boozer at alll

  16. junior says:

stuckey is not the problem give them some time to play together. o and if i remember stuck had 8 assists so he must of been passing the ball some. we dont need to trade any1 we just need to get the team time to get to know each other. cv31 missed the preseason so he is behind every1 else. why the hell would we want boozer? hes always hurt and his contract is up next year
