Rasheed Wallace – So good he’s got a song named after him

Posted · 40 Comments

And the legend of Rasheed Wallace keeps growing. When I found out a local rapper and diehard Pistons fan had as much passion for Sheed as we do, I had to share.

“Rasheed Wallace,” by Royal Oak rapper ALLiTiZ, is not about Rasheed Wallace as a person, or a basketball player. It’s about Rasheed Wallace as a mentality. That on-the-brink, take-no-prisoners, everyone’s-out-to-get-me mentality that the Piston’s outspoken big man carries like a badge of honor.

Everyone’s got a lil’ Sheed in them, so listen to the track and let out some aggression!

ALLiTiZ_-_05_-_Rasheed_Wallace.mp3
Rasheed Wallace is on ALLiTiZ’s third CD “Get Broke” released in 2008.

For more info you can check out his Website.

Front page, back page, middle of the page……it’s all Sheed.

  4. Don says:

This shit bangs. Dope concept too.

  5. VJ says:

this song is just awful. granted, hes better than Souljaboytellem, but this guy is never going to get a major record deal. Im not a hater, just telling it how it is.

  6. aaron says:

eh. i didnt like it at all and i love rap… better than souljaboy? doubt it cause souljaboy makes hits like it or not.. hot garbage.. back to basketball talk now haha

  7. Pete says:

Is this a joke? What a terrible song, its hard to listen to and I am a fan of rap. It does not “bang” at all. This site is awesome, but why would it ever support garbage like this?

  8. War Eagle says:

Are you all kidding me? This is the new shit. Sounds different than all that other radio hip hop bullshit. You all are a bunch of haters. His lyrics ring true and give mad love to this site’s namesake. All I know is that I’ve got a need4sheed and ALLiTiZ delivers. Keep doin’ what you do, homie. One.

  9. Andre5000 says:

This song is an embarassment to Sheed and to this site….please take it off.

  10. Jon says:

War Eagle is clearly one of his “boys”

If this is the “new shit” I hope I start to loose my hearing quick.

  11. Charlie says:

I don’t know whats up with the negativity. Sounds tight. Dude has talent. Go Pistons!

  12. SHeeeeeeed says:

YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT, YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WILL, JUST REMEMBER ONE THING THERES NO DENYING MY SKILLS!! SHEEDTASTIC!!

  13. KeyNote says:

I can dig it. Not a huge ‘rap’ fan, but I cannot help to love the lyrics. The beat and chorus could be better…

  14. Steve the hated says:

Rap died in 2003 the last breath rap had is when shady/g unit/aftermath was murdering everyone in beefs n battles tearing up every opponent..once they fazed out rap died..rap sucks i hate it now.. rappers ran out of ideas, there is nothing to rap about all they do is repeat phrases with a shitty down south beat like that no talent hack soulja boy..that goes for lil wayne too hes horrible..”he loves his daddy”.. id rather listen to a unique sound like TECH N9NE he is hands down the best rapper these days and i hate rap now so that says alot tech n9ne is godlike.. R.I.P hip hop.. rip bone thugs and wu tang mobb deep ect..

im mostly a metal head id rather listen to some hatebreed pantera down killswitch engage any day over lame ass pop lock n drop it bullshit..

for the record this dude sucks. haha give it up.

  15. FMtriple says:

I hate rap tracks (tracks) that repeat every last word (word). Seriously, someone should play this to Sheed before game time, get him pissed and he’ll put up 30pts.

  16. Lucky13 says:

just like sheed, everyone is out to get this cat… i just checked out his website and he has some pretty good songs. i agree though, rap is dead.

  17. Dave Bing 21 says:

Good stuff, kid. I like your style. Need more fans like you that are willing to speak their mind, stand up for what they believe, and leave themselves open for criticism. Imaginative concept. You are proving the point of the song by posting it for all to hear and comment. I got it.

  18. donmega says:

HATERS! this song is tight. people should support someone who will make a song about sheed. everyone on this site says they love sheed, well then why can’t they support a local rapper who loves sheed too. don’t hate, congratulate.

  19. Rap Lives! says:

Nice link ^^^ Click on Sheed the muse/ Detroit Bad Boys.

  20. G says:

This is just Pathetic.. this guy should kill himself.

  21. ALLiTiZ says:

I love it, it all just fuel for the fire inside me. I appreciate all the comments and criticisms but more so the fact that people are just listing. When making this song I wanted to touch on a feeling and an emotion we all carry inside of us. This song was meant to be hated. “You can’t stop me know holding me back, I walk though the talk and plot my plan of attack, you can say what you want, you can say what you will, just remember one thing theres know denying my SKILLZ!” Plus, if you didn’t like this one, head over to myspace.com/ALLiTiZ and check the rest of my songs and I GUARANSHEED you’ll like at least one.

Thank you all, keep doing what you do and I’ll do the same.

    Most importantly…Go Pistons!

    ALLiTiZ

  22. bballgal says:

went to highschool with this kid. he was a tool then and a tool now.

  23. Richie says:

I thought it was pretty good, especially lyrically. I liked the Pistons 2007 anthem better- I still remember most of it. This blog isn’t here so that people can debate about whether or not rap music is good though.

  24. JoeMoe says:

I also went to high school with the kid and can second the tool call. You don’t have ‘skillz’ allitiz and I didnt like a single song. This has to be some sort of joke.

  25. alleyoop says:

allitiz, i liked the song. your website songs are solid too. apparently you went to a big high school that has a lot of bitter need4sheed readers. i would have a rasheed wallace mentality too if i had to come out of that.

i see you got some good feedback on your site and lots of plays today. so, i guess the question is, who’s the tool now? the one who reads a basketball blog and tears apart a song they dont understand or the one who just made new fans and got a bunch of free publicity? i guess you can be the judge of that.

good luck in your future musical endeavors. keep the positive attitude because thats what keeps you on top and dont worry about bitter bloggers.

i would really like to come out to a show, do you perform in the metro detroit area at all?

i’ll pass this song along. again, good stuff.

  26. ALLiTiZ says:

    @Alleyoop…

Thanks for the support. I do plenty of shows in the metro area, but mostly down in Detroit, which you may or may not want to come out to. However, I do have a show this Saturday in Allen Park at a bar/grill called Simons. If you check out my MySpace page you’ll see the info.

If you come out, I’ll make sure to give you a free copy of each of my 4 CDs.

  27. Rip City Ninja says:

These poor folks can’t even appreciate a free song. I’d like to know what some of these haters listen to. Other than Killswitch Engage, Pantera, Papa Roach fan. Clearly his opinion doesn’t count. And to his High School classmates…. What are you guys doing with your lives? I mean, other than bashing some kid with a dream on a BASKETBALL blog. Just curious. Keep em coming, Allitiz. Your shit is tight and you should keep it coming.

Wait…. did someone actually compare this to Soulja Boy?
Clearly your opinion doesn’t count either. Hits? I think you mean Hit.

  28. Slav13 says:

I like it man. Catchy and lyrically put together well – can tell the dude has Piston knowledge and is a fan from the lyrics alone.

.. don’t understand how some of u can actually go as far as attacking his everyday life when all he’s doing is showing OUR BOYS and PISTON NATION some love and as a Piston fan u gotta appreciate that ..

Besides, better than the majority of these Piston Anthems u hear every now and again.

  29. michael says:

this song is okay…but the best rap song about a bball player has to be ‘Ron Artest’ (love him or hate him) by 4-ize from DTP.

if you wanna take a listen

  30. H2 says:

hey, if anyone has the mp3 of this could they please send me it at heelyhailey@aim.com?
    thanks :)

  31. kapdog says:

thAT WAS SO CORNEY I COULDNT FINISH THE SONG PLEASE DO THE PISTONS AND MY EARS A FAVOR AND DONT RAP ANYMORE

  32. Tha Real Donmega says:

Went to high school with this cat, he’s got some dope stuff goin on. You may not be feelin this song, but I guarantee if you check out his stuff you’ll be feelin it. Keep doin your thang ALLiTiZ

  33. Deeeetroit Baaaaseket says:

Yo good work on the track. Love the concept and the beat is banging. Hit up ur website and now I cant get that song with Big Herk out of my head. Keep it up man. And to all the Haters, just like the song goes, “SHUT UP BITCH!”

  34. Blondie says:

This song is awesome, and to the haters your just jealous.

  35. Joe says:

This is a great track and hopefully it will get more people interested in ALLiTiZ. Make sure to check out his myspace page for more info. I’d love to hear what these haters think is good music. If you can’t respect meaningful lyrics and sick beats then you aren’t listening hard enough. Keep it goin ALLiTiZ you’re going to blow up

  36. Elvin Madden says:

    lil wayne is sooooo hott

  37. An impressive share, I simply given this onto a colleague who was doing a little bit analysis on this. And he in reality bought me breakfast as a result of I found it for him.. smile. So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! However yeah Thnkx for spending the time to debate this, I feel strongly about it and love reading extra on this topic. If doable, as you grow to be expertise, would you mind updating your blog with extra particulars? It’s extremely useful for me. Massive thumb up for this blog put up!
