Pistons vs Magic

The Pistons vs. The Magic
The 24 – 6 Orlando Magic will take the floor tonight at the Palace winners of their last 7 games. The Magic are playing great basketball right now and are currently at the top of their division. With Superman’s size, along with the rest of the Magic is Curry going to play small ball again?
Chris McCosky – The Detroit News

“I’ve got to make a decision on that,” he said. “I have to take a long look at Orlando. They are one of the teams we’d like to be big against, but we’ll have to see.”

Confounding Curry’s decision is the uncertainty of Richard Hamilton’s health. He missed the win at Milwaukee on Saturday because of a strained left groin. He won’t test it until this morning.

If Hamilton can’t play, then Curry’s decision is made for him. He will have to use his big lineup, and against Howard, he would probably start Kwame Brown instead of Amir Johnson, who contributed 11 rebounds and four blocks in his start Saturday.

….Beside’s Hamilton’s groin strain, Antonio McDyess and Prince needed extra treatment after the game Saturday.

Tip off is at 7:30 P.M. on FSN and NBATV for those of you who get it. If you can’t watch the broadcast, tune into 1130 AM The Fan where you can catch our friend Matt Dery with the Pre-Game starting at 6:30. Can’t do either, follow the game on NBA.com.

What’s this? Michael Curry is considering starting an ACTUAL NBA lineup? Consider my mind blown. Curry for Coach of the Year!

i was soo heartbroken that i didn’t win, because i tried really hard on my video. but then i thought and i said to myself” hey i went last year and someone else deserves to go”. But im try again next year :D

  4. DETstuckeyMVP says:

  10. Amer ican Prince says:

I’m getting tired of these dumb trade scenarios. Boozer just seems so sleezy to me. There’s something about him that I don’t trust.

And while I’m intrigued by the Tyson Chandler trade thing, I can’t say, I would pull the trigger on Sheed.

I can’t say I would be disheartened if we traded one of our guards because truthfully, they annoy me more than they make me cheer

  11. Vanalope says:

Now THAT was a kick ass game. Let’s keep doing that! Was starting to wonder what play they’d pick for play of the game, there were so many to choose from. :)

  12. yoyo says:

great win. defense is getting alot better. and I always love it when the announcer always says ‘DEETTRROITT BASKETBALL’ every turnover for the opposition. it always gives me a smile hehe

  13. Bobby says:

keep rip out of the starting line up until we lose :)

  14. OIG says:

ok we are still better than Orlando so lets hope we gone play them in da playoffs and not Cleveland!!
Sheed really knows how to defend Dwight altough he was a beast on da boards again!
somebody noticed that Sheed took 18 threes da last 2games!!!
    i dont like it………..
Even Ray Allen dont do this

  15. DETstuckeyMVP says:

Can you guys believe, only 3 turnovers, thats incredible, the fewest by any team this season

  16. aaron says:

all this trade talk has me thinking… what if…

    STUCKEY
    IVERSON
    PRINCE
    BOOZER
    CHANDLER

hmm… thats a winning squad.. still just a what if though but thats a GREAT TEAM!

  17. AIfan4life says:

‘sheeds been picking it up the last couple games, you cant trade this guy. big win, how about only 3 team turnovers for the stat of the night!

  18. pistons01 says:

  19. mannie32 says:

don’t look now… but pistons are 7-3 since dyess’ return to the pistons

  20. pogi says:

Sheed played good d against Howard. But Sheed’s got like 12 techs now..
