Lindsey Hunter is about to become a Bull

by Natalie Sitto on November 13, 2008

I knew he wasn’t going to play for the Pistons this season and I was almost certain that his job in the front office wasn’t likely to happen until his legal issues got settled, so now it looks like he’s got a job close to home in Chicago.

This is a shame. I loved having him on our team, but I didn’t think he’d remain in the NBA if it wasn’t to stay with the Pistons. Well, I guess these are the kinds of causualties you have to accept with the youth movement.

“Hunter’s contract with the Bulls is non-guaranteed, so he could be waived once those two players (Hinrich & Hughes) come back.”
He could be back in no time. Wouldn’t have had any opportunity to play in the regular season anyway.

if you’re right and it’s not guaranteed man that would make me so happy, have to wait and see more. If he doesn’t come back I think it is a sign Joe D is in fact rebuilding

Hey there’s only 3 games on tonight and it seems all three will feature at least one Piston guard (yes I still cal them Piston guards even though they’re not technically with the team)

Bulls vs Dallas Lindsey Hunter (jerry stackhouse might be hurt not sure)

Denver vs Cleveland Chauncey Billups, Chuckey Atkins (and Ben Wallace will probably be there too)

Pistons vs Warriors AI, RIP, Will Bynum, Arron Afflalo, Rodney Stuckey(?), Alex Acker(?)

Prince,
I have the info from detnews.
He’s a great guy but why sit and watch when you can have some time on the floor? He’s not in the game yet though.
