This has got to be one of my favorite experiences interacting with one of The Pistons. I took my nephew to the Pistons season ticket holders crew party last season with video camera in hand. You know how Amir responded when I asked for a Need4Sheed shout out, but the experience I had with Antonio McDyess makes me smile to this day.
Keep in mind that Dyess is my nephew Joe’s favorite Piston, as you can tell by his declaration while shaking his hand, but what comes next will make anyone a Dyess fan.
Seems Antonio and Maxiell feel just about the same about Sheed.
I can’t believe I forgot I had this one in the vault.

Always loved and always love this guy.
He’s just a real Piston, and I hope he’ll play well. I think he will make a bigger impact coming off the bench than being a starter.

Aw, Dyess! He don’t know what Need4Sheed is. *Chuckles* I’m sure that Sheed would of said something, or Amir but that’s alright, love him anyway! XD

I <3 Antonio and I don't care who knows it.
I'm sure that a certain reader will tell me that means I need to "find me some females" but I don't care! He's the emotional catalyst of our team, whether he's starting or coming off the bench.

Love that Aww Shucks quality he has to him. He’s my favorite Piston along with Sheed and Lindsey (but since they signed Alex Acker to a contract I’m worried they’re not going to bring back Lindsey)

sheed is wearing #30 this year again.. thats why the palace and no one had any sheed jerseys i’m assuming

That Alex Acker signing fills the guard spots out pretty well. Sadly, I think Lindsey is retired. Hopefully, we’ll see him take on some role in the front office.
And McDyess is just a great guy. I don’t think anyone worked harder to get the Pistons to try to get back to the finals than he did last year. I hope the young big men–Amir, Maxiell, Samb, Kwame and Hermann–are learning a bit about sportsmanship from McDyess, along with how to play the game. He’s just a great guy and an incredible human being.

thanks for the heads up steve I was trying to find any pics from media day and that was hard other than yahoo.com. And you’re right he looks a lot skinner especially in the last photo.
Also I’m glad Dyess will be first big man off the bench. I love Jason Maxiell but I’m not ready to have Antonio be Lindsey Hunter(ed). And not play a lot.
Well that’s my break for the day back to studying for my test
