Fluidics time line is relevant becaue the last 20 years happened in our lifetime. If you’re going to count the enitre history of the franchize than you’re bringing up championships that had nothing to do with your current team, its management, or you.
By the way, you said you wouldn’t want a consistant team that comes up short every year. Sounds a lot like a very good football team that lost in last years super bowl.
Just because there are 4 sport teams that your town roots for doesn’t mean that bandwagon fans don’t exist there. I know plenty of people in Michigan who have given up on the Lions, and in upper Michigan most people even root for the Packers.
When the Lions hit their stride and win the Championship, it is we life fans who will enjoy it most and the ones who try to jump off the bandwagon will be held accountable for their lack of faith. The difference between our lions the last 20 years and your Celtics the last 20 years? Ford Field still sells out every game and fans still support their players all season long. The same can be said for the Pistons’ teal era. The Garden was quiet as a mouse for years befor last season and it barely filled to half capasity. Now that you have 3 perenial all stars people decide they want to come support them?
News for you, Celticsr, it’s easy to cheer and root and wear your jereseys when your team is on top. It takes a city/state with plenty of true fans to support them just as enthusiastically when they’re down- way down.

But now i don’t want a trade i just can’t wait to see some action with this team, and Sheed being silly in practices like he always do.
