Bad Boys Revisited

This past season The Pistons celebrated 50 Seasons, and as you many of you know they designated an All Time Pistons Team. Besides the season long celebration and the emotional ceremony, the Pistons ran a special on television commemorating the players.

Here is a great look back at The Bad Boys by the men who covered them, that includes our favorite broadcaster George Blaha.

when they talked about losing to the hawks and saying that something big needed to be done reminds me a lot of right now. hopefully in a couple of years we can get the same results.

According to reports, Pistons don't think Josh Smith is worth Tayshaun and a future 1st.

I repeat.

According to reports, Pistons don't think Josh Smith is worth Tayshaun and a future 1st.

I'm going to throw up. We get a long offer from and extremely young an exciting guy that plays defense, jumps over people, and blocks three shots a game, but THAT is asking for too much? Are we the Minnesota Twins of the NBA?!

I'm not afraid to admit that i'm losing patience.

not saying that i hate Prince but his play is clearly overrated considering how much he suffers during fatigue (and he only played 32 minutes a game last year), and the only 22 year older with more upside than Smith is Dwight Howard. This doesn't seem right. Whatever happened to ponying up a little?

PS this doesn't make me a bandwagoner because i'm throwing a fit. i'm tired of watching half of the Palace sleeping through regular season games, and i'm tired of watching certain players visibly looking like they are panting when we need them playing at top level. and i fear if we don't get either Smith or Artest then we'll end up doing a lesser deal that isn't significant enough to get us over the hump.

perhaps we could blame the speculative reports just to get our hopes up? (however, that IS their job...)
