The Detroit Pistons vs. The Sixers

The Pistons are in Philadelphia to take on the Sixers in what could be a possible first round playoff matchup. Rather than give you the drill about this game, I direct your attention to a great article on Rasheed Wallace at ESPN.com. This one is a must read for Sheed lovers and haters alike (although it’s hard to find a hater in this place).

Tip off is at 7:00 PM and will be locally broadcast on FSN Detroit. If you can’t catch it on TV you can always tune in to 1130 AM WDFN The Fan or stream it live through your computer at NBA.com.

Thanks to ALL the members of Team Need4Sheed who emailed me to make sure I didn’t miss the great Sheed piece.

ok I do not like this win, I really don’t like this lose, we could play these guys in the playoffs and I really thought that the pistons would come out tonight but philly wanted it more… I know this is time for the starter to rest however know one wants to go into the playoffs losing and meet a team who has built confedence I know the pistons can do it but I thought they would win this I guess I am upset becuase I don’t want to see toronto in the playoffs but well we can beat them so thats ok…

  6. rbaaan says:

actually im hoping we play toronto, thats who id want to see in the 1st round, weve killed them over the years and we can just shut them down when we really need to. I dont wanna see philly or the wiz because the wiz just got back Gil and Philly has alot of confidence right now.

  7. jessi says:

I know we’d kill toronto I don’t want to see them because them I have to go to a playoff game with a guy I do not like at all he is a toronto fan and I am a pistons fan and if they win I have to go to the ACC with him to a game, I would go either way since I live only 40 mintues from there… if we see TO I will go to all the games I just don’t want to go with this person and since I work with him there is no way out.

  8. Nat_Turner_Wit_Tha_Burner says:

The Wizards just might beat Clev in the first round and they might give Boston a run for their money.Their the only team to beat Boston at least three times this season. Watch Out For The Wizards.

Remember: Nat_Turner_Wit_Tha_Burner predicted the Pistons vs. Wizard in the ECF. !!!!!!!!

  9. sauce1977 says:

All I checked was the box score, but it looked like Detroit wasn’t moving the ball well.

Also, how the hell did Willie Green get two blocks?

Best article I’ve read about Rasheed. Finally a non Piston fan sees what kind of person Rasheed Wallace is, and that explains it, in an article.

    Great Article

    thanks a lot for sharing

We can’t just lose on purpose! We’re still like one game ahead of the hornets/spurs/lakers mess and if we make it to the finals, I think home court is pretty freaking important!! Come on play the starters!!
I swear if we lose a game 7 in LA i’m going to be so mad.
