Pistons Host The Heat

The Detroit Pistons vs. The heat

The 13 and 58 Miami Heat will play their last game this season at The Palace tonight. The Pistons would love to come off their lackluster performance against the Raptors to grab a win and clinch the Central Division title for the fourth straight season.

The Pistons have a couple of good things going for them tonight. The Heat are awful and The Pistons have won 5 straight at home. Should that be enough to translate into a win for Detroit? Well it’s likely, unless Chris Quinn goes off.

Miami is without Dwyane Wade and Shawn Marion and using seven players from the D League, including three who were called up last week.

Tip off is at 8:00 PM and will be locally broadcast on myTV20 Detroit it was originally supposed to be a TNT game but they dropped it about a week ago (sorry out of town Piston fans). If you can’t catch it on TV you can always tune in to 1130 AM WDFN The Fan or stream it live through your computer at NBA.com.

Let’s hope the comment section is filled with highlights tonight.

Since Rip’s on the ticket, I hope he’s well enough to play tonight.

Looks like no Rip. Due to dropping the game, back to my normal viewing of it on Flash.
    And we’re down by 5 =\

I know it’s early but I am already seeing what else is on. They are playing D-League players right now, there is no reason for the pistons to be behind unless the score is 2-0 and the Heat won the tip. If they lose this game I don’t think I can continue to watch until the play-offs start. It’s just painful anymore.

    1st quarter…

what the hell…this game is like a must-win game. For God’s sake, they have SEVEN D-league players on their team! SEVEN!!! If we lost this game, the most minutes for any Pistons starter better be 7 minutes.

Is Rip’s injury that serious that he has to sit out 3 games? I hope he gets better soon T_T

I think the Pistons ought to refund me the remaining portion of my DirecTV NBA League Pass subscription. This is sickening…

That was so bullshit how they called the foul on Stuck a pass-over when clearly he was trying to shoot.

But I liked that come back by Blaha.. “Who was he gonna pass it to?? The rim??”

    LMAO

Damn, Sheed already got 18 minutes in this game…you’d think that in this 18 minutes, Sheed alone can take the Heat out…And I thought Amir was tearing up the D league?

Remember that one time when the Pistons dropped 65 on the Knicks? This one might be even more embarrassing.

Come on, Pistons. Clinch your Division title, however meaningless it might be, tonight.

Well they have led(by a little) through most of the third. And I just seen Hermann dressed to play, but at this rate I doubt he will see any action.

It wasn/t the game I am sure a lot of us wanted but the won, and by a sizable amount thanks to the 4th. We even got to see some Herman in there.
Afflalo looked good tonight, while the rest of the starters were rather meh.
Well now we get to wait for Saturday when the Cav’s come back. They better bring there A game, I’d hate to see them walk over us again.
