One of the greatest shots in pistons history!

  2. Ree says:

that was beyond Sheedastic. i screamed soooo loud when the shot hit. it was beautiful!! im soo glad it was Sheed who made it. it was nice after the one game suspension.

  3. wolfblitzer says:

That’s what happens when you decide to suspend someone for bullshit. See: Rasheed Wallace see also Kobe Bryant even though kobe did kinda land some cheap shots. p.s. anyone hear someone from denver’s bench yell, “Tell the Truth, Ball” (clearly throwin out a jab at sheed’s “ball don’t lie”) while sheed was shooting free throws in OT?

I was watching this game at home glued to my TV. with what looked to be a lose for us at home again I got up to go to the kitchen for a drimk but stop and turned to the TV (I have a problem I need to see a game out win or lose) It weas the point when the ball went in and all the players were cheering. I knew at that point some hit it and it was sheed. I watched the replay and well I could beleive my eyes. Sheed had a good game hell all the players did with rip and webber out.

I wish I could have been at this one. I tried to fly home out couldn;t get the time off of work my friend was at the game and called me about 5 minutes after the shot. I gave her my tickets and she was happy.

  6. Anonymous says:

did someone really say tell the truth ball? Well I guess it did some players might get a little up set with sheeds saying ball don’tt lie even the refs don’t like it.

Anyway this was a great game. I love sheed’s reaction and well everyone elses as well.

  7. Anonymous says:

LOL, I don’t think Rasheed even believed that it went down. It was like one of his funky trick shots during practice……

Boy, did that bring the house down.
whole audience was getting ready for a let down….

What’s with this weird flu anyway, 2 people at work are sick, someone in the house is sick with it from one of his poker buddies that got it…..Feel better soon Rip and Chris

did anyone see JR Smith stareing a hole into Sheed when they were next to each other at the foul line in OT I almost feel bad for him, he looked so mad.

I wasn’t going to check in til tomorrow, but after that shot I had to check and see if you put up the clip and sure enough here it is, great job Natalie!!!

PS you should put the clip up of Sheed with his See you later” shot from the practice facility for all those who believe it was a “miracle shot”

  11. jessica says:

i can not stop watching it!!!

Nat, did you go to the game???

  12. Anonymous says:

did anyone else think it was funny when Chauncey threw the ball up at the end of the quarter and the ball got stuck. Sheed went to get it and a cameraman got in his way, and Sheed moved him so he could get the ball. Great shot Sheed

  13. Gilliss says:

One of the first things the announcers said after he hit that shot sums up why this was so Sheedtatstic:

    “He practices those!”

  14. Anonymous says:

Man that was just bananas!!I will never give up on a game again, I think that I am going to get an eviction notice tomorrow from my landlord!! I was yelling so damn loud, I just couldn’t believe that shot went down. You gotta love Rasheed!! I love the Pistons so much!!! Chauncey had a great night too!!! Great win for the Greatest team in the League!!!!!

  15. Anonymous says:

That was one crazy play and shot. Haven’t seen something like that since Chauncey hit one of those against the Nets a few years back in the playoffs

  16. Warthog says:

got a hi-def version of that?

  17. Brian says:

  19. motorboatsonofabitch says:

Just straight amazing. I love watching this team. Who says Detroit brand basketball is boring?

  20. Natalie says:

Yes I was at the game and it was SheedTastic!

  21. Amanda says:

WOW! When I saw that ball go in that net I nearly shit myself! I was so shocked I couldn’t even scream. I could watch that video all night long! I was chatting with some people in the NBA forum during the game and a Suns fan came in with a couple minutes left in regulation when the Pistons were down and said he/she bet ‘Sheed was going to make a 3 at the buzzer. It may not have gone quite like he/she imagined but hey, a 3’s a 3! Kudos to all the boys for their effort in the second of a back-to-back without two starters and a couple of sick backup guards. Here’s to another great game against Big Ben and the Bulls on Thursday! CHEERS!

  22. jared says:

Both Teams Played Hard, my man.

  23. Anonymous says:

this was a great game I had a feeling we were going to something to win this one but I never new it was going to be this.

Both teams played well and I think that kudos needs to go out to denvor for there come back in the second quater. They could have given up but they didn’t.

  24. downtown says:

I was so happy Sheed made all Chauncey’s hard work pay off.

Did sheed have his hand in the air walking away from the shot before it went in??

  25. Kevin says:

That was a thing of beauty. There are a lot of pissed of Nuggets fans out here right now. Best shot since Chauncey hit his against the Nets to force OT in 2004. Hopefully I can get a bunch of the Nuggets fans to check out the site, I told them that the video of Sheed and Tayshaun practicing bombs should still be up.

  26. rj says:

    that shit was hilarious!!!!

good to see something put a grin on nazr’s face

  27. Anonymous says:

Does anyone have a video or a link to a video of Sheed’s full court shot he made back in Portland?

  28. Anonymous says:

WTF, come on man we all know it wasn’t exactly a lucky shoot, Sheed does that kinda stuff, hes a trickster, although if i was betting i would have had chauncey making that shot but now sheed has his career buzzer beater in the bag so its all good

  29. Anonymous says:

    hell yea, that was amazingggg.
    i love the bemches reaction

  30. Virginia says:

WOW!!!! ‘SHEED IS THE BEST! I LOVE HIM AND HIS GAME…HE NEEDED THAT SHOT, AN AWESOME ALMOST ONCE IN A CAREER TYPE SHOT…..AND YEA “THE BALL DON’T LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. Anonymous says:

    OMGGGG !!!!

    that is amazing!!

everyone at my school knows i love the pistons but they all hate them and make fun of htem to get on my nerves..but today they all came up to me and told me what a lucky shot sheed had and i hadnt seen it yet until now

but all ih ave to say is WOW !!

if htere was ever a game to go to ..it would be that one.. halfcourt 3pter to tie up the game PLUS overtime !!

    oo geezzz

  33. Anonymous says:

Finally the Pistons get some kind of recognition on NBA.com!
Thats is the shot of the year. Kobe can’t do that can he? lol

    Oh and it wasn’t a miracle shot…

    IT’S SKILL!!! Go Pistons

  34. Anonymous says:

omg. wow. sheed style wow. wubuyou o wubuyou wit caps. WOW!!! that was the best shot i have ever seen. I was screaming and jumping like i had never b4! that was re-diculous!!! fo sho! i mean if i was cbillz i’d b watchin out ther might be a new mr.big shot in town!! 36. Anonymous says:

HAH look at the reaction of the nuggets on the bench (the video from the link) .. they were soo mad when they knew they were gonna have to take on five more minutes with the DETROIT PISTONS :]

  37. SolShine7 says:

I wish I recorded that game. This is exactly why Sheed should retire a Piston.

  38. RJ says:

Did anyone see that MILF in the pink shirt on that sheed 60 footer 3 pointer video? WOW!!!!!!!!

  41. gee gee says:

oh my goodness, this makes me love sheed even more…he is ridiculous that it is…well ridiculous..lol
i was flipping back and forth to the game and when i saw that chauncey had miss that important three pointer i was like i am going to save the heartbreak by turning away…but before i turned away there was a part when chauncey had clapped his hands together i guess in frustration, and it took me back to when they had played the timberwolves a few months back (you know, with the fight between dyess and garnett) anyway, for some reason i felt that it was going to be overtime, just an odd feeling, so i ended up turning away, and sure enough when i turned back they were showing this clip and when i saw that i was jumping around like a wild monkey lol. and sure enough it was sheed this time instead of chuancey. this was a good job and skills not luck, cuz tay even said it on nbatv after the game, that they practice that stuff, and it really came in handy.
and that goes to show that even though it was 1.5 secs left on the clock you should never give up because good results may come out in return.

  42. Anonymous says:

theres no such thing as luck. because you cant prove it. sheed does practice those. all the time. sometimes i think thats all he practices. but thats who he is. wish i could go to the games or get fsn detroit. i live in upstate ny. it sucks. tonight @ bulls. tnt. party at my house.

    :D
