It was much the same Sunday afternoon when Wallace entered the Conseco practice court and was swarmed by a horde of cameramen and reporters.
“I’m not backing down,” Wallace said. “They will not win Game 2. Front page, back page, middle page. They will not win Game 2.”
When asked questions about any number of other subjects, his response was the same.
“They will not win Game 2.”
Some of the other Pistons were asked whether Wallace’s comments put additional pressure on them.
